Hey guys, am sure a lot of you were wondering about this like me so i would like to hear what you all think and of course i might have missed something but that's why your input is welcome *_*.
remember that Obito's loyalty is only to the eye moon plan (not to the uchiha's or anyone else). So why was he concerned about Sasuke's progress (and told Naruto that he can play with Sasuke later after the showdown between Sasuke and Danzo) ?? why did he take Sasuke under his wing and gave him itachi's eyes ??
There are three possible answers to this question, so lets explore them (blue answer is the point of this thread) :
- He might have wanted Sasuke to become strong enough so he can do what Obito failed to do (destroy the leaf) BUT, when Obito started focusing on Sasuke he was fully consumed with achieving the EMP and his plan didn't require the destruction of the leaf, actually destroying the leaf would be a waste of time and effort at that time (pointless).
- He might have wanted to keep Sasuke close to him so he doesn't get influenced by anyone else and get in Obito's way BUT, if that's the case then Obito could have simply killed Sasuke at any time and he had a LOT of opportunities to do that so this answer is the dummest (sorry lol).
- He mentioned before that Naruto and Sasuke's final showdown is like a destined fight (that happened twice before) so maybe he is just preparing Sasuke (creating his Frankenstein). witch raises a bigger question, WHAT'S IN IT FOR OBITO ?? he didn't even use Sasuke's power in the war ..... so could this be a second crazy PROJECT ?? (other than the EMP).
Now putting Obito's motives aside (still a mystery), it also makes you wonder ..... what is he trying to make out of Sasuke ?? coz this could really be something we haven't seen before (not a Rinnegan or anything like that). We still don't know everything about this universe and it's secrets ..... and Sasuke's position in the story is becoming VERY INTERESTING.
We all kept thinking that no one is truly evil in this series and that the villains were simply "VICTIMS OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES" so they are all trying to achieve peace in their own way (except for Sasuke) but, after looking at where this story is heading, you MUST remember that we will have a final fight and that Sasuke will become more evil than ever (even if he questioned his actions now) to fit the "bad guy role", after all he represents darkness
(cheesy ....) and will become completely consumed by it.
Just wanted to share my thoughts, What do you think ??
