Sarada activated it when she was old enough to understand that she missed her papa, which was probably around 3-4 considering her memwory of Sakura and Sasuke holding her hands and she was fairly young

But why is it so delayed, if it a nerf, is it plot, I mean ultimately it doesn't matter as she is already on the level of a 3 tomoe user, but its doesn't make sense. Gaiden should've granted her 3 tomoe considering what she went though

I agree. It's a shame they're keeping her at 1T for so damn long.

I may be wrong, but I think Sarada will only upgrade her Sharingan when Boruto gets a powerup first. At 1T she's already ahead of him, they don't want to make her too powerful yet.

Once Burt gets a powerup, she'll get her 2T or go straight to 3T, who knows.

But how will they write the 3T into play, Sasuke and obito where kinda weak ( or genin level) prior to awakening 3 tomoe and then they developed precog and what night. Actually obito went straight to ms. How will they distinguish her eyes from each other , she's showed everything, will they make her faster because now she can analyze thing at an accelerated rate

No that's what sakura suspects which is weird since only recently sarada started talking about sasuke and usually sharingan activation is more dramatic.

OT I think sarada will activate ms real soon since mitsuki has sage mode

The sharingan relies on sprouting of the special chakra, my assumption is the stronger the released chakra the more tomoe a user has until they reach 3 tomoe. Sarada isn't in a situation which will force her to release more of that chakra speeding up the maturing process.

Another factor to consider is she's the daughter of the sage of 6 paths similar to Indra so it's likely she needs a lot more to help her progress her eye than the standard Uchiha. She can already do so much with her 1 tomoe if she was to pull out a 2 or 3 tomoe it wold be overkill.

Sasuke SAW his entire clan including his parents get murdered by his older brother via a genjutsu and that did nothing for his visual prowess.
