Madaras third eye which is used for Mugen Tsukuyomi wouldn't make a difference actually. Because a Rinnegan can cancel the Genjutsu of another Rinnegan-according to Sasuke.

SOSP didn't make the CT when he was old, he did it after the fight wiyh Juubi, BZ confirmed it, also, he didn't use COAT, he simply split the Juubi's chakra, he didn't create them from nothing you know, nit to mention, Madara would've had the same dimension ability as Kaguya if he would've fought nardo and sasky
