He is omnipotent in the narutoverse. Going by the arguments in the thread, Rikudou compared to other mangas/animes is not very omnipotent in comparison.

Not how it works. He only has one qualification, which is being above all, and he's not even the one who was above all, the Kami Tree is. He's nowhere near infinitely powerful, which is omnipotence.

Reality warping and hyperboles do not make one omnipotent.

If an omnipotent entered the narutoverse, he would be an ant, it works like that.

Who even says he is? If the narutoverse is a standard verse with 100's of billions of galaxies with trillions of planets, there aren't higher powers?

The term omnipotent is fallacious, fto be an omnipotent in a verse you have to effectively break the fourth wall and have other applications (omnipresence, omniscience)

You can find odin calling himself omnipotent on several occaisons. You can find several planetary characters at best calling themselves omnipotent. Even a few dbz chars have said they were infinite. Are these even remotely true? No.

ToAA is based off of stan lee, Presence has referred to an even higher power that was the authors, kami tenchi existed within the mc the whole time, M.O.M. has referred to the readers.

To be considered an omnipotent there are several applications, he doesn't have a single one via speculation, other than being the most powerful.

Also moon level reality warping is nowhere near omnipotence lol.

Everyone knows omnipotent user's must have:
1. Life/death control
2.creation
3.manipulation about everything (sages rinnegan techs)
4. Mastery over there powers at all fields (stated the sage basically mastered all)
5. MUST defeat there god (On like toaa who was a rip off go and the sage did)

How dose the sage got a powerful chakra? From what?
That proof he is not omnipotent..

Also why did the sage seal the 10 inside his body?
If he is truly omnipotent he should just erase the 10tail from existence to make sure everyone's safety in the future. Or he could at least seal 10tail on a special dimension that only he can open with his "omnipotent" power.

But instead he only seal it on a moon?

his life/death control, creation and manipulation feats aren't that impressive
even Haruhi Suzumiya stomps him

There was a recent thread on how omnipotent he is. Seriously, that guy is like in the early civilisation of human ninja race. Don't think he is that powerful

He is not omnipotent, as he died, but he is still the strongest being in the verse.

I for one think him sealing the jubi is an overrated feat. Hashirama was able to suppress and hold the jubi on his own for a while. Obito took that opportunity and sealed the jubi. I don't see anyone reason why Hashirama couldn't have become the jubi's jinchuriki himself if he was alive and knew the sealing jutsu to seal the jubi. There I said it, Hashirama could have soloed the jubi in place of the sage if he has a sealing jutsu
