Another one of these? Manga already directly said that Kaidou is the strongest. Everything that is said against this before any other confirmation is irrelevant.

He is definately one of the strongest guys in OPverse.
He has already fought with WSM-WB, WGS-Mihawk and WSC-Kaido(he doesn't give a shit about titles).
Teach immediately left MF (who was ready to destroy it after getting WB's df)
His heaven/cloud splitter attack is basically same as Mihawk casually destroying that mountain(which obviously tells how strong he is and he got long range attacks)
lets not forget that he destroyed a marine fleet so that he can talk with WB about Ace(who isn't a member of his crew).

Even brilliant creators such as Oda can be put on the table of debates. He created this universe and its rules like DFs and haki. He can say Kaidou is this and that. A reader can make such statement that Oda would have hard time to debate on. Why is there so much hype revolves around such character as Shanks that no matter what the creator say "Kaidou is the strongest creature alive" will never be accepted to some readers. How things rolled out between Shanks and Kaidou during Marineford is a mystery harder than the origin of DFs. I put my money on it that Oda will never tell. He would leave that to our imagination. The only fact here is that Shanks succeeded to prevent Kaidou from coming to Marineford. Most of us believe it required force to keep Kaidou away. To end up with two sides unharmed is hard to accept. Someone as Jack Having hard time with Inurashi and Nekomamushi, how Shanks' first mate then? I tell you again, it is a mystery worse than DFs origin.
Most of shanks "confrontations" were mostly off screen or insufficient details regarding them, so they're mostly outliers. He is definitely powerful however no doubt about that.He is definately one of the strongest guys in OPverse.

Shanks is hyped as shit, he came in the battlefield fresher than he did when he took on kaidou. Even BB was feeling that haki pressure from all the way on the other side of the marineford.

Let's be honest, Shanks hype is far greater than any other Yonkos hype shown in OP.
-Challenged Marines if they want to continue fighting then they have to fight him(at Marineford)
-He destroyed a marine fleet to warn WB about BB,
-Entered WB's ship using Conqueror haki and his clash with WB made heavens/cloud split and that was like a friendly duel.
-Stopped Akainu's lava Punch
No doubt he is one of the best swordman in OPverse.
-and lets not forget he is the only Yonko so far mentioned who clashed with Kaido(Marine fodders saying they had small fight/skirmish).
Now if we see other Yonko hype then we get:
Kaido:
-in a 1vs1 fight always bet on Kaido.
-Jumped from sky and had no injury.
Same guy lost 7times against Yonkos/Marines and got captured 18times.
WB:
-WSM
His haki wasn't strong enough to stop Akainu's punch and he had to rely on a complete stranger to save Ace(multiple times)
BM
-Eat her own kids and ready to kill if somebody leaves her crew.
She has never sent any assassins behind Lola & 2 of her daughter left the crew in this arc.
BB
-Has 2 Df and main reason why WB and Ace are dead
-Destroyed Rev Base
-his crew hunting df(strong ones)
-Aokiji most probably joined him
-he is also a d
Honestly BB is the only Yonko oda has given proper character development. Even though his fights were off paneled like Shanks nobody here would doubt that by the end of this manga he would be the strongest guy in OP. And Shanks will be like in top 10strongest guys list by the end of the manga.
Don't you feel like Aokiji isn't reeeally apart of the Blackbeard pirates though.. rather just putting on an act infront of Teach for his own ulterior motives..?

Doesn't matter if Aokiji is working for marines or Gorosei but the simple fact that he joined BB(let's say to see what BB is planning) shows marines fear regarding BB and his df.
I mean they sent one of the strongest guys to check on BB which they never did with WSM WB or WSC Kaido's time.
No don't get me wrong, I'm not disagreeing with you about BB's hype/portrayal.
I was just asking you about your personal opinion on Aokiji and him "joining" the BB pirates.. like if you thought it was legit or not..
I personally, like the theory that he's actually helping out the Revolutionaries somehow.. or even just doing this on his own free will for reasons we haven't been told yet.
I honestly just really dislike the idea of Aokiji literally being under Blackbeard as one of his crew members.
