Is Persona 4 any good?

Hello to one and all, this is hateful AKA "The Invisible Man".

As the title indicates, I'm wondering if the game is any good.
I copped a PS Vita a while back.
And after getting my usual assortment of games (Madden, Fifa, Shooters.),
a couple friends recommended Persona 4 Golden.

All I know about it is that it is an RPG (which on the regular I'm quite leery on, but I'm willing to give it a chance),
and it is a re-make of Persona 4 from PS2.

So with that being said, can the people of NB help me out by answering,
my very simple (and some of you might say stupid) question?wease:

Yeah, Persona 4 is good. In fact I loved it. But it depends on your preference I guess. You don't usually play RPG's and this isn't a western RPG like Skyrim or Fallout its a JRPG. So you got a story you have to follow and roaming around is kinda restricted as there isn't a whole lotta places to go. But it is free roaming sorta as in you can do pretty what you want but you gotta prioritise as well or else you'll end with a game over screen. It does have something which people call a 'Dating Sim', where during the course of the game you make dialogue or action choices and most of these affect how much a character likes you, this in turn gives you boosts in battle and Persona Creation. Persona are like these beings you can summon during battles and your stats are directly linked to what Persona you have equipped with you at that moment.

I'm probably like all over the place with this review, but yeah. Watch some youtube videos first before you decide if you gonna buy it or not

Hell that is the reason I'm willing to take a chance.

It gives you a sence of freedom without being free roam, has amazing OST, great character design and very nice scenario!
