[Question] Is OP worth watching?

Shanks is debatable, Kizaru not really.

Zoro sure is awesome but Did you forget the Marine Ford ????

Agreed, One piece is dragged on for so long that it's notworth reading and watching. Other such manga is Dective Conan, which stated by the anthers in interviews should of ended long time ago, but wouldn't because of all the yen they're seeing milking the their series as long as they fit.

That's a horrible reason.... the length of One Piece in and of itself is basically an aspect of the Manga... you're on an adventure. The adventure of a lifetime .


OP: Read OP . The only thing standing in your way of a great story are two factors.

1) The initially slow felt pace up until around chapter 100 when a great deal of the crew is gathered, and we start moving into the big arcs.

2) The fact that you are 725 chapters behind... then again, that's a great amount of free reading material if you need to just blow a few hours on reading.

That's one action, Zoro acts badass in every scene he's in. And seriously if Zoro was strong enough to afford to do that he would.

If you have to time to sit and watch over 615 episodes, then by all means, yes, One Piece is a phenomenal anime to watch (after the first 50 episodes or so). However, if you don't have the time, then I suggest Yu Yu Hakusho.

Meh, That's why I said in my earlier post that if the OP has the time to watch/read the series he should go for it. I just don't like One piece due to how long it is. I just wanted to put my two cents in.

i watched ten episodes and stoped, i raed the manga to chapter 48 and i am yet to continiue........maybe i should continiue

i did the same thing.. but "forced" myself to watch it because pretty much everyone recommended it and know i like it better than naruto because the story is just amazing but i agree when you start to watch the series the first part is a little boring but when it starts to get good it becomes great incredibly fast

I just started watching it like a month ago, I'm on episode 155 now. The show is f*cking EPIC!!! the Baroque Works arc was really nice.

Zoro and Sanji are my favorites so far but Mr. Fire Fist Ace is gettin' really close to knockin them away.

Look man, its an epic anime. But, be warned, you'll get extremely bored in the first episodes. I almost ditched the anime, but I wanted to see were will the storyline go and I didn't regret it one bit.

On the other hand, there are loads of guys more stronger than Zoro currently but dude shows badassness infront of everyone. Actually he doesn't show it, he himself is the embodiment of Badassness. A badass even when he is near death.

(Also they all were tired from fighting WB and all too). BB was weaker than Shank, I admit, but about Sengoku, it looked like that he realized that's it'd be better for everyone if they now stop fighting.
Though being Shanks had an impact too, but that's not the only reason why the fighting stopped.

-Also in the first chapter, i.e; 10 years before the start of series, he was already a very powerful man. I'd say near yonko level or already an emperor, As WB stated that every one was surprised when a man as great as yourself came back from east Blue with one arm.
