The fact that Rin's body didn't mysteriously disappear from Konoha's Graveyard and then get thrown at Nagato until he revived her shows that Reuniting with Rin was OBVIOUSLY NOT HIS GOAL.

okay guys please rep me for this, my reason why obito actually turned so hostile over rin death and wanted to take over the earth, was because he tough that he was too powerful enough to have to worry about rin being harmed, and his doubt soon came to fall after he realized that he cant do everything he wants to. you cant kill death, unless your beyond omnipotent, you cannot defeat it simply. all you can do is move on, but for his stubborned he refused that and decided to take the matter into his own hands.
