[Discussion] Is Obama a good or bad president?

In my opinion, he's a good president. Clearly not the best, but definitely not the worst. He'll probably be ranked top 35 presidents of all time after his term is over and some time is allowed to pass.

To say he's ruining the country is just ridiculous in my opinion. "Obama is ruining the country" is usually a simple euphemism for, "he's black".

Anyway, what do you guys think. Is he a good or bad president? Where do you think he'll rank when all is said and done.

No crazy radical theories that Obama is Lucifer reincarnated. Don't tell me he's part of the Illuminati. I want cold hard facts on why you think he's a good or bad president. Defend your points.

People are to stupid to realize that the president isn't the only person that makes choices that affect this country (congress who never gets shit done), they also have high expectations that are just impossible to do in today's society.
He has done a decent job so far when it comes to problems in America.
As far as foreign policies and Obamacare..ouch!

I don't think people claiming he's bad is a euphemism for his race but rather just people not fully understanding what he does. Even I don't have a full comprehension of his successes and failures of his terms but from I gathered over the years, Obama is preparing our country for a better future and also attempts to build strong international relations with other countries.

Seemingly, he hasn't done anything that seems to negatively affect the majority of people at once so that's pretty much all I care for. He was put in office under bad conditions to begin with and I think he's done well under those conditions, especially since he has a congress that mostly opposes him. Overall, I'm satisfied with his presidency.

I agree, he is pretty good president. The country has recovered a lot from the Bush reign thanks to him. I feel like congress is the true problem within our government. I am going to leave it at that, because I don't want to go on some political rant XD.

When a congressman called Obama a "tar baby" on tv you know people see him as a black man first than president.

Personal experiences I met a lot of people who don't like him because of his color not because of political views/actions

Obamacare isn't bad IMO. It just had a shitty start and no one is willing to give it a chance. In Kentucky(I believe) they polled their citizens about what they thought about Obamacare. It had something like a 20% approval rating. They then asked them what they thought about the Affordable Care Act, and low and behold, it got like an 80%+ approval rating. They're literally the exact same thing. Lol.

Im not qualified for the subject ( I doubt anyone here is lol) but through my biased observations he seemed like the cool prez. He made appearances and such and was a great figure but he didn't step up to the challenge and do any real change. He was like the rest.

That question is too difficult to answer. Each president faced unique problems, and there is too much that we do not know about how they were limited to decide whether or not they did a good job. People instead assume that the president is out to get them.

If pleasing everyone in the current world (or at least America) were as easy as people seem to think it is, it would have been done already. The only way to get things done 'easily' would be to just completely start over, which would likely be absolute chaos. Instead, leaders choose the safer alternative, which is building upon a damaged foundation.
