Is Naruto really Hokage material?

I mean seriously, Naruto has alot of good in him, maybe even too much, but minus all the rasen-bijjuu dama spam, does he have what it takes too lead a village, we all know what happened to Hiruzen, he left the dark side to Danzo, and everything went downhill there. Tobirama tried and left the Uchiha's spiralling into insanity. Tsunade had a rather pleasant run. we know next to nothing about minato's time, but it was implied that he might have handle the Uchiha massacre well. Hashi was dealing more with external problems than internal. I really don't know what Naruto would do as Hokage, because his goal was just to become the Hokage nothing more.

Well as he is now? No. He has the power to be Hokage but mentally he is not quite there yet. But that doesn't mean he can't make for a great Hokage especially with Shikamaru as an advisor as everyone else stated.

So to sum it up. He has the potential to be Kage material. He just needs to mature a tad bit more.

He's matured quite a lot. You can tell from these last 10-15 chapters.. He's not a boy anymore.

The only thing he needs to work on is his loud mouth, but other than that, his head and heart are in the right place.

Plus he'll have his friends there to balance out his weaknesses. He'll be fine.

while i agree that Sasuke is a genius, he isn't Hokage material mostly because of his lack of flexibility, leaders should be able to bend to accommodate, on the other hand Sasuke is the type of person who will kill you if you pull a stunt. ANBU Head is more his style.
