Could also be a part of the story design. To remind you that there are other characters that are important and powerful. I mean did anyone else groan with the whole "tailless tailed beast" title to build up kisame?

naruto is legendary.. the same way sasuke is notorious.

I believe he is not known because he hasn't got to travel an fight strong shinobi in there villages as jairaya, 4th hokage, itachi, 1 hokage, raikage, kakshi and etc. but people are learning now who he is and how strong he is, so now i would say that he is legendary.

well hes definately more powerful, since kakashi could only last about 22 seconds against a tired sasuke, whereas i think naruto would smash sasuke without even killing him. also remember when kakashi was like 28 years old, he couldnt even beat zabuza, whereas naruto at 16 would beat 300 zabuzas minimum at the same time.

naruto lasted long against pain the strongest ninja in he world, and he could even beat raikage whereas even now i dont think kakashi could do that, also narutos rasenshuriken would pwn kakashi, the first rasenshurken would be aken by kamui bu then the second rasenshurken would hit home since kakashi would be tired.

remember kakashis the guy that learnt from the fourth hokage yet go roflstomped by zabuza, itachi, pain, and got chased down that wall by a tired sasuke. kakashi is a fail student of yondaime.

Kakashi isn't a failed student of the 4th... He is the only one left alive from student teacher generation tree, besides naruto also he managed to fight kakuzu and hidan at the same time!!!! who can do that.. of course he got pwned by itachi who doesn't lmao. Even orochi couldn't do anything to itachi!!!!

In any case I don't think that Naruto will have to worry about this for very long. As the Kumogakure shinobi recognized Kakashi, they had to be wondering why he was deferring somewhat to Naruto by letting him address the Raikage directly. By doing so, Kakashi is letting others know that Naruto's status is very high indeed.

He has been invloved for like two seconds and he has already played a major part in helping the alliance in siffing out zetsu, saved a couple of people, and broke through a powerful berrior (which now Idk they could use that to portect the dynimos or kages or somthing).

How Naruto is stronger than Raikage and where it is that Kakashi couldn't kill Zabuza???

Naruto is stronger than the Raikage,, all the raikage had against naruto was speed and now he does'nt have that anymore. Even if his punches are strong does not make a difference if he cant hit him. Everybody needs to face reality naruto is stronger than kakashi with or without the fox.

Of course he will be leagendary, but not yet. He is the most leadendary person beside 6 paths, and his direct offspring. he is the only person in the ninja world that uses power close to the 6 paths, and i believe he will get the rinnegan. if naruto doesnt get the rinnegan then the whole naruto anime wont make sense. He has to get the rinnegan. Itachi couldnt have given naruto anything else. sasuke has the eternal sharingan, something itachi never had, therefore sasuke has supassed itachi, and I believe anything besides itachi giving naruto the rinnegan would be useless. Naruto is an uzamaki, and pain was too. Mandara said out his own mouth, he gave pain the rinnegan. just put the pieces together.

Your marked for life and every person in the anime will see him as nothing more then a weapon. But naruto constantly suprises and overcomes the odds. He's changed his entire village's opinion of him and they all recognise him as a worthy enough ninja for the title of hokage (Which is his dream). Furthermore he doesn't stop there, he rapidly changes others minds and opinions in people we never thought that could happen for such as nagato, A and gaara. He sticks to his ninja way no matter what. He decided to take his own path right from the beginning and because of that he is able to affect so many other people around him. In my opinion that makes him a LEGEND!!, to be able to abide by your way of thinking even when the whole world is against it. Thats why he's also so determined to save sasuke, because his ninja way insists he saves others.
