Might Gai defeated Kisame, meaning Kakashi could defeat Kisame x D
Truthfully, it's about match-ups !
Kisame is a bad match-up for Jinchuriki c:
Kakashi saved Naruto / Sasuke before they even reached the Land of Waves, when Naruto froze up and those Chunin were about to kill them both
He's a legend because he copied 1,000+ Ninjutsu and is one of the best overall fighters in Konoha history
The only knack about him is stamina, which is because of the Sharingan, which I mentioned was both a gift and curse, sort of like his relationship with Obito at times !
Shikamaru defeated Temari. Tayuya, Kakuzu using his intellect c:But how are they going to imply their smartness in the battlefield if they fighting someone unknown alone, they will just be beaten after their thinking process, I can't dare say intellect doesn't count coz all my fav. caracters are intellects but to use it in a battle instantly or progressively will give you something, hope you understands my point........

Temari vs Shikamaru wasn't a real fight it was in exams, in real he couldn't have said I give up and For Hidan and Kakuzu, he had it planned before entering into the battlefield if they were their for the first time he couldn't have take them unless for Kakashi-sama's precise arrival at the right moment.....xdxdxd

The only reason Kakashi didn't beat Zabuza was because he was looking after Sasuke, Hinata and Naruto at the time. Also, I'm not sure Naruto could beat the Raikage... although you're probably right. He probably could.

ok so u tell me how is some1 gonna become legendary??why cant kakasi or some1 else beat pain or tobi wid help of others???didnt kakashi took help of choza..chouji and other while fighting two of the six paths of pain...still ended up dead...

2- you must know the difference between naruto and kyuubi!!!so when you say naruto defeated pain when kyuubi did most of the job....you are wrong!!!
3-kakashi is a sensei!!!!and he has never been so angry before...so we don't know his limits...
4- how do you say kakashi barely stood up to a weak sasuke...what would naruto do to evade that arrow that kakashi sucked with his mangekyou...rasengan!!!or shadow clone!! he would probably be dead
5-when he told naruto I'll kill sasuke .Isn't that enough proof that he has the power to do so...it is that naruto told him not to do so!!
6-remember....kakashi can also do rasngan..and he is the one who gave sasuke his current speed...If you were whatching naruto eppisodes..
7-if kakashi was put one vs one to naruto (without kyuubi) ....I 'll let you decide!!!+kakashi has a powerfull mangekyou he is good at using it now.

man i already said kakashi is jut words..u say that he told naruto that he is gonna kill sasuke...and u believe that he can do this....so wut will u say abt kakashi saying sakura to take care of his body becoz he is gonna end all wid madara,sasuke and zetsu...u seriously believe kakashi has the strength to kill all three of them???and about that arrow...maybe naruto can dodge it in sage mode...u never know unless he fights...kakashi is just an over estimated character becoz he shows off....
