[Discussion] Is Naruto going to get another power up?

I say next episode or the one after that will be the time for a Naruto power up He has the tools to do it Fox Mode and Sage Mode, desperation of the moment may be the incentive Naruto needs to combine both Modes into a new Mode and powers and abilities.

Yeah, he probably will learn something new in the next chapters.

But it su**s seeing him always in this developement :

Upgrade -> Fail to use it perfectly -> Suddenly strikes perfectly -> To weak to handle a stronger enemy with this jutsu -> Upgrade ... etc.

Two reasons I think not:

First, he hasn't perfected his current powerup, Kyuubi mode (KM) and the corresponding jutsu TBB Rasengan, so I doubt Kishi is going to give him another one in the middle of him mastering KM. That breaks with his history of writing Naruto. :naruto:

Second, look at what the fan does, it provides access to all 5 elemental affinities, yet with his one natural wind affinity so far all Naruto has is Fuuton Rasengan and Fuuton Rasenshuriken (FRS). Naruto doesn't have time to do shadow clone training and figure out the other elements, and it doesn't fit his fighting style even if they come as naturally as wind does now, as I understand how it works, so again I say no. My answer would be different if Naruto had multiple Fuuton release jutsu to a maybe, but given his fighting style I gotta go with no. :naruto:

Rather, I give Gai a better chance of using the fan of the Rikudou Sennin with his gates open than Naruto since he can use ninjutsu and will be able to not have normal limits on chakra release. Release the Beautiful Green Beast! O.O

yes he will get more power ups. as u can see he needs more time to train with the 9tails and its time for him to beef up his overall knowledge base. he does not know enough to beat the type of enemies he now has.

Necessity is the mother of invention and right about now with the odds against them Naruto might perfected the Tail Best Bomb as He did the wind Rasengan in battle history is on His side, plus the Fox / Sage Mode is still not out of the running.

i agree and the then the scene will go to the 9 tails expressing that's the feeling and naruto will have the perfect body. and his last power up will be getting sasuke's abilities. and become complete like the sage.

I agree with your first point. I guess with Naruto one might turn a phrase and say, "Necessity is the mother of perfection."

I don't think though that sage/Kyuubi mode fusion is something trivial enough from his current state that can be done without any training and just on inspiration or necessity.

Well I knew he was going to get more powerups, I just thought this weapon might be one of them

Man, so many people are sold on on sage/Kyuubi mode fusion going down just like that in the midst of battle. OK, I'm interested to see this. I just don't think it should be this easy for something so powerful and nontrivial, but who am I to stand in the way of the choice of the people...
