Itachis intelligence feat is no where close to minato.

I'm probably gonna get bashed for saying this, but I'll say it anyway. Minato = Itachi in intelligence. Both have very dangerous skill sets too, and make no mistake we haven't seen the full set of either one. I'm sure a Hokage and Sharingan Master have way more jutsus and skills than we have witnessed. These too CAN at the very least give anyone, except a juubi jin, a run for their money. They have the ability to beat ANYONE at all.

Pretty sure we saw Itachis entire arsenal or atleast most of it. He showed both his fire and water affinities, shrunken jutsu, genjutsu, ms - Amaterasu, tsukyomi and susanoo etc. with minato we don't even know what nature affinity he has, we don't don't what his Rasen flash round dance howl stage three jutsu is, we haven't seen what other Uzumaki sealing he's learned or if he has anymore senjutsu based techniques.

In terms of moveset it seems minato got the biggest shaft out of every high level ninja. Even Hashirama's and Tobiramas move sets have been fully explored in this 1 arc. I understand rasengan and FTG gets the job done majority of the time but damn kishi show us something new.

It's only recent portrayal, after seeing obito, he seemed to have been an idiot from shock and awe.

Indeed, especially when he figured out about the Black Orbs, so by that he can use that jutsu on Madara along with SM.

When Itachi came to visit the village in part 1, he made a clone explode, to the suprise of Asuma, who then asked "Is this all he has?" . Kakashi then stated, "No, he, he hasn't even gotten started" Considering Kakashi didn't know at that point of his Mangekyou abilities. It means Itachi has a variety of other things he's just never shown. Considering we have seen him using Fuinjutus throughout the manga, (Sealing crows in people, sealing abilities, transcription seal) Who knows what else he has

Of course, I meant as in we've most likely seen all of his most useful and relevant techniques, while with minato we've barely scratched the surface.

Everyone thought Kakashi would have analysed it, but it was Minato who figured out. He even managed to analysis that Black Orb very well, and especially about that 70 meters.
