First of all it is manga facts about Minato seemed to figure out that Kamui would work even after he said only Senjutsu and Taijutsu attacks would work. I wonder how he came to that conclusion. Though, I think a lot of people here are curious why Kamui works.
I was surprise how Minato got everyone to support Guy with his own plan, talk about a guy with no arms.
If we read again in this latest chapter....
1. Minato explained to Kakashi very well about how Madara's Black Balls really works, so by that he came up with a strategy and a counter plan to hold back Madara's black spheres. Here is some example:
2. Minato even analysed how The Black Balls could not be controlled by the user beyond up to 70 meters away, and by that, Minato knew Kakashi's Kamui would work if Madara loses his control over it.
Another explanation about Kakashi can lose his sight due to much used by Kamui during this war. Minato asked Gaara for a favor to help Kakashi get closer to Madara to Kamui the Black Spheres away, however Gaara was exhausted and his sand could not keep up with Madara's Black Spheres. However Minato mentioned he could take it away by using his FTG Kunai so Kakashi would get the chance to get even closer.
3.
Here you can see Lee going for 6th Gate Open. It is kinda surprise that Minato was able to stop Lee from attacking, but instead he listened to Minato.
Notice how Lee's reaction after what Minato told to him? Well, in that case he instead asked Lee about to keep his Kunai and defend Gaara.
He played as a Hokage role great with Lee, and looks like the Will of Fire didn't miss a Hokage.
This thread is about how Minato analysis and strategy was supreme. He is often calm and relaxing like Itachi by figure out the opponent's weak point. Not bad for a guy with no arms. People here often claimed he got fodderized by Madara's Black Balls, but it was not in that case. Minato only wanted to keep the attack continue because Guy's attack was OP so he knew Guy would land a great damaged hit on Madara. Minato is dead after all, so it doesn't really matter if he gets hit.
