Is Minato naturally fast without FTG

the yellow flash nickname comes from hes natural speed, he leaves only yellow flash-like line when he runs, so he really is fast.

that was shunshin no jutsu/body flicker tech my friend, minato base speed is the same like itachi or maybe a little bit ahead itachi, and he gained the name "yellow flash" not because his base speed but because his FTG which allow him to move freely to the kunai/seal he placed

if that the case every ninja can gain that nickname too like raikage blue flash and kakashi white flash, but no minato gain that nickname because he can move instanly and ppl can only notice there was yellow hair which appear before them and pawned them

well by that logic he can take out everyone in 1 sec but he never use that so called "base speed" again when he fight tobi he used FTG not his base speed. while his base speed is better since he don't have to put kunai and tags to teleport, but he never did that that's why i assume that was shunsin no jutsu

Base speed is one thing

FTG level 2 is another

plus he's faster with ftg because when he fights he scatters kunai everywhere and just teleports making a yellow flash
