Is madara nagato evil or plain evil?

I heard from the flashbacks madara was giving to sasuke that he tried to rekindle the flames of war. And from what he was saying to naruto, that he was the type who goes for vengeance. But at the gokage summit, he said that by his plan everyone will "unite", which would obviously lead to partial peace or total disaster. So is he actually evil, or good like nagato but his technique is evil?

He is beyond mad. I'm sorry to say this but at least Sasuke makes more sense than Madara. It's like there is no real motive for him doing what he is doing.

Madara is evil yes,

Nagato wasn't, he was manipulated by madara.

Nagato only wanted peace, his way of getting peace was though showing people the horror of war, so that everyone can understand the pain and suffering a War bring (Like nagato did when he was younger) so that people would fear war and never go to war because of that fear, therefore people will live in peace

May sound like a ****ed up way to Gain peace, but peace is peace no matter how its gained
