Is Kakashi stronger than Jiraya

I don't think Kakashi is overall stronger because he doesn't have a sage mode or arsenal of techniques like jiraiya but with Kamui he can definitely defeat him.

It is only close now with Kakashi's new Sharingan powers but Jiraiya was very smart and Kakashi can't use his Sharingan powers so much because of his low chakra capacity so I think Jiraiya would still own

even though jiraiya has no counter to kamui but he can evade kamui..i think in sage mode he can defeat kakashi quite easily...even though kamui is a problem..but at the same time using that technique can take a lot of chakra....

Kakashi is known to COPY 1000 jutsu...not master them or even memorise them....and besides he doesn't have 4 elements...his elemental affinities are earth, water and lightning and his water affinity isn't so predominant compared to the other two....

kamui? yes it is formidable, but kakashi needs to target the charcter and get him before kamui can work. when kakashi tried using it against deidra, he wasn't very successful cos deidra wouldnt stay still. the instances we have seen kakashi perform a successful kamui have been on targets that were still, or travelling in a straight motion albeit fast i.e sasukes' susanoo arrow( was traveling in a straight line headed for kakashi, pains' missile- also relatively straight part, hachibi was still. so jiraiya isnt gona stay still and wait for kakashi to kamui his ass, so if u saying kakashi would win based on kamui, u wrong . so dont think kakashi is stronger than the j-man,

if the fight 10 times, i think jman will win 6 or 7 times

sure jiraiya doesnt have a counter for kamui, but kakashi doesnt have a counter for frog song or jman's giant frog summonings, not to mention sage mode will boost jman's abilities so jman would be stronger & faster

Remember that kakashi is copying ninja he can use kumai temporarily after the war he will not be able to use it and incase if he learns it he can use it few time and jiraiya has the power of toad which can summon him back as when pain was attacking the village a toad summoned naruto in leaf village

dude you are totally wrong....kakashi can easily defeat tsundade at his current level....kakashi is one of the fastest ninjas in BASE mode...he has excellent chakra control, his kamui is way too dangerous...he can obviously defeat oro without hands.....but with hands i don't think it's possible...and he can equal base SM jiraiya...if jiraiya isn't able to evade kamui then it can be really troublesome...however if jiraiya strikes first then here's a method...joraiya will summon the oeso****us of the toad to entrap kakashi...kakashi cannot escape that cause he cannot phase himself through objects like obito...at least not yet...

I'm going to go with Jiraiya on this one. It's sad everyone's stating Kamui is the reason he'd win.

I remember in Part 1 an Itachi informing Kisame that the two of them didn't want to face Jiraiya when they were trying to capture Naruto.

And Itachi > > > > Kakashi. Kamui is awesome and all, but one technique can't really be the reason someone wins a fight of this caliber.

Ppl underate tsuande if she was so weak compared to kakashi they never would've looked for her in first place to become hokage

While jman doesn't have a counter for kamui kakashi doesn't have counter for any of jman techs,summons etc

Jman beats him sage mode because in sage mode ur suppose to be able to feel when a jutsu is about to happen and ur reflexes r insane
