To all the people saying kakashi is stronger due to PNJ i say naaah get over it guys and girls. Thats like me saying itachi is stronger than kakashi because of PNJ or naruto is faster cause of PNJ. It dont work that way. If its in the manga its canon and yes kakashi is alooot stronger however its debatable if he could take itachi or not

absolutely not. Itachi has always been ridiculously powerful despite his crippling illness. Orochimaru, Sasuke, Naruto, and even Kabuto all stood no chance against Itachi

i dont understand you guys.just because kakashi is better at kamui doesnt mean he can now take on itachi.we are talking about itachi guys,not no regular ninja.i believe itachi is the most intelligent and wise ninja out of the whole naruto series.we are talking about a guy here who mind****ed sasuke throughout his whole life and is able to outsmart every person he comes a cross with.now im not saying kakashi isnt smart, im just saying he isnt smarter than itachi.

Kamui is not an end all tech against itachi.....tsukiyomi is an end all tech because even if you "have knowledge" of it...it is still highly difficult to watch out for (Pun moutha****in intended

Everyone who says Kakashi would win cites Kamui as his trump card. Understandable, considering it's instant, a 1-hit-kill, can be used repeatedly, and Kakashi doesn't have to look directly into Itachi's eyes.
However, you all seem to be forgetting the Sharingan's forbidden ability: Izanagi. Kakashi has never mentioned it nor has shown to have any knowledge of it's existence. Itachi, however, has used Izanami and has been shown to have extensive knowledge of Izanagi. Of course, this doesn't mean he definitely can use Izanagi, but it's a strong possibility. If he can use it, then I'm pretty sure re-writing reality is a pretty good counter to Kamui.

Kakashi has clearly shown hes on par with Itachi when it comes to analyzing and deducing. Gai / Itachi /Tobi / Naruto etc... all acknowledge Kakashi's amazing diagnosis of life n death situations.

Also the shuriuken prowess surrounding Itachi though it may be hyped, I see Kakashi just as talented when it comes to this area.

But all in all Itachi despite this OP kamui tech Kakashi has still comes out superior....

A lot has changed since then....

I agree with you, don't get me wrong. I don't think, based on recent evidence and how valuable Kakashi has been in this war (taking out the Seven Swordsmen, practically Fuguki Suikazan and Zabuza by himself) that the gap is HUGE now, but it's definitely there. It's gotten to the point in my head where Kakashi could give Itachi some difficulty because as it stands now, he has knowledge of Tsukuyomi. Knowledge is power, no matter how you look at it.

Also, Kakashi has improved a lot since him and Kisame came for Naruto. He didn't have Kamui back then, nor the stamina he has now. Unless there is evidence that Kakashi took a soldier pill, meaning we see it in-manga, we can assume that either his chakra control has improved dramatically, or his chakra level has increased. Either way, it still benefited him because in the end, it comes down to he can use his techniques more times per day.

Kakashi would win.
He can just go underground and emerge behind him and Kamui his head. No time for Ama prep, Susanoo's weakness is underground and Kakashi already knows not make eye contact, Itachi can't activate any normal jutsu in time. U_U

there are very little counters to this move but for kakashi, his has to do with stamina. You see how after he kamuied naruto's clone he passed out from the strain on his eyes. All you really have to do is make im over use it and kakashi is a goner so for example:
spam his ass lol
fire ball jutsu like crazy or clone like crazy
