is kakashi in akatsuki's level?

well i think he is at akatsuki's level...
let's compare them-
kakashi > hidan (no chance for hidan i think)
kakashi = kakuzu (he was about to loose but he didn't use MS so we can't say who would win)
kakashi > deidara (deidara was extremely powerfull but as kakashi has lightning he would won like sasuke or they both would die)
kakashi > kisame (if kisame has no more tricks than 5 sharks i don't know wtf he is doing in akatsuki,well even if he would have 100% of his chakra i'm not sure that he is match for kakashi)
kakashi < itachi (i don't know if anyone could beat this guy, even pain)
kakashi ?< madara (dunno much of him right now may be he became weaker)
kakashi < sasori (this guy had too many tricks and puppets)
kakashi ? zetsu (wtf is he??)
kakashi ?< pain (well if he is informed about pains secret he will find a way to handle him i think,but otherwise he would have almost no chance )
oh yeah and orochimaru
kakashi < orochimaru (this bastard won't give him a chance to blow him up by MS, kakashi hasn't other weapon to kill this almost immortal guy.And dunno if kakashi can look inside him like sasuke did)

Do remember most fights against akatsuki have been not quite straightforward for kakashi

Deidara and sasori-Had to put up with naruto being a twat, and needed to make a tough decision, leave sakura, or naruto, in theory, does this mean kakashi thinks sakura has grown more as a ninja? because surely hed go help the weaker ninja??

Hidan and kakuzu-I cant of find these guys a bit cheap in a way, i mean, not being funny, but kakashi owned kakuzu in like...3 minutes, if kakuzu didnt have 5 hearts, kakashi wouldve owned him, so technically, kakashi does have the smarts and the skills to take opponents down, but being immortal or having 5 lives is pretty cheap.

Kakashi has met every akatsuki member now apart from konan, he knows and seen and pretty much fought all of them even if only for a tiny brief time, except konan.

Now thats not something every ninja can say "i went up again 90% of akatsuki members and am still alive"

Also, kakashi works best in a team, he isnt quite akatsuki level when hes on his own, he tires easily, however, if we gave another akatsuki member to kakashi, thatd be one helluva combination.

Im pretty sure there was a manga in which it stated kakashi was an S-class ninja.

Because it said only special jounin go on S-rank missions (unless shits hit the fan and no jounins are around like when oro invaded konoha) and kakashi goes on a lot of S rank missions...then again, im pretty sure that was filler anime.

Either way, akatsuki is made up of the toughest dudes.

Do remember that orochimaru was weak and FEARED akatsuki members, he even wanted kabuto around when taking on sasori, considered rather weak akatsuki member.

And kakashi shit himself when oro turned up, and i know kakashi has grown, but...not quite that much, hed still be owned by orochimaru full strength, and orochimaru would be owned by most of akatsuki, so no, kakashi isnt akatsuki level yet.

He is also one crazy SOB to take on the leader of akatsuki ALONE.

I mean come on, kakashi always ends up in hospital after fighting akatsuki, and usually he has team mates helping him so its ratio is 3:1 or 6:2 (same anyway lol)

But now its 1:2

Hes outnumbered, and DEFINITELY outgunned.

I mean the guy has trouble defeating standard akatsuki with team help, hes gonna get OWNED big time against pain, major pwnage, hes got to be saved, theres no way kakashi can escape, hes not good enough, even jiraiya "couldve maybe" escaped.

I'd have to disagree with Kakashi being able to beat Kisame. We haven't seen Kisame fight much and when he fought Gai, he almost beat him (remember it was a clone with a great deal less power than Kisame himself). Kisame has a ridiculous chakra pool and Kakashi... well... we've seen Kakashi's chakra supply and it's rather limited. Also, Kisame's sword eats chakra so I'd guess he would try to use that to suck Kakashi's chakra.

But when Gai opened 8 gates kisame(clone) couldn't do anything but loose though he still had chakra.remember the only difference between clones and them was in amount of chakra(that's why itachi couldn't use MS).ofcourse we aren't manga creators and can't say exactly what kisame can do but his water jutsus would be useless against 8 gates-gai.

so water can pass lightning that's why i decided that lightning > water.

Errrm... with hidan and kakuzu, kakashi was WITH shikamaru, Ino and chouji, and kakashi still had trouble and required naruto to finish him off.

Yes, I think Kakashi is on Akatsuki Level BUT not on Pein-Madara Level though.
We haven't seen Kakashi fight his best on Shippuuden, not yet, Kakashi-Pein battle is far from over I think.

But I think he's on the level of MOST akatsuki. Let's go through them!

Hidan: Kakashi would pwn his A$$; use his nin-dogs, then cut off his head and bury him.

Kakuzu: Kakashi would lose against his vast elemental attacks. MS doesn't count due to the fact that it takes like... an hour to charge up.

Sasori: Kakashi would win. Kakashi's sharingan would allow him to avoid the poison needles, his lightning blade could break through the puppets, and his sharingan is good vs. many enemies.

Deidara: Lightning beats earth, plus he already beat him once.

Kisame: At 30%, Gai struggled against him. Considering Gai's probly at about 60% of Kakashi's level, Kakashi would not be able to take on Kisame.

Itachi: Itachi would win; no need to explain.

Konan: Kakashi could use a water jutsu; ownage.
