something has always been bothering me! why would kakashi think he would stand a chance against sasuke!

i mean take in consideration that kakashi dont know the circumstances of the fight between itachi and sasuke! all kakashi knows is sasuke killed a ninja who left him in bed for a week with just one attack!

also if you struggle against sasuke after sasuke was weakened at the five kage summit and after he killed danzo, then wat would make him think he can take on sasuke at full power? he must be really eager to see obito, rin and his sensi cause there is no other explanation, i agree kakshi is a great ninja but sasuke has long since surpassed him, i mean sasuke was partially blind and he could still went toe to toe with kakashi with ease!

i wish kishi could put them against each other again so we could see sasuke rape his face!

kakashi stands no chance at all, wat do u guys think, and kumi wont work on sasuke cause sasuke has already seen it and will attack accordingly also sasuke is too fast for him to try to use it on him! remember sharingan weakness is speed so please no one even mention kumi!

also kakashi cannot counter ameterasu and sasuke is more proficient with lighting attacks than kakashi!

I hope you know that this was after Sasuke killed Danzou and he was weakened. He barely had much chakra left. Once he activated susasnoo he fell to the ground and started to cough blood.
Full Strength Kakashi > Very Weakened Sasuke.

Sasuke didn't kill Itachi, and Itachi could've killed Sasuke had he been trying to kill him, which he wasn't (only trying to rid Orochimaru from him). Secondly Itachi left Kakashi in the bed two and a half years years ago, I'm sure Kakashi has gained a lot in power since then (having already known about Itachi's Tsukuyomi ability before they fought the first time, and since Kakashi, a non Uchiha managed to get Mangekyou that's a powerful upgrade). Now you say Sasuke was nearly blind and he could've went toe to toe with Kakashi, get real if Sasuke used his MS again for more then a couple of minutes he would've lost all sight and then he's officially useless. Now his standard Sharingan is alright, not great, alright so that's his only option. If I hear somebody say Kirin I'm going to...do nothing because this isn't really an issue. However Sasuke had nowhere near the level of chakra to preform that technique after fighting the five Kage. Now I'm not saying a fully charged Sasuke couldn't kill Kakashi I'm just saying in the given circumstances, Sasuke's eyes being as f***ed up as his brothers (who's had MS for years) after only having MS for...not even a couple months, his chakra down the drain (and nobody better say he had another fight in him against a big baller), and his physical body stressed from Susanoo, Kakashi could've taken a drastically weakened Sasuke, which he was at that point. Full power though no but don't be underestimating Mr. Hatake that's all I'm saying.

I think Kakashi will be killed by Sasuke. Kinda like how Pain killed Jiraiya. Would be good to see really. As much as I like Kakashi, it would be a really meaningful death you know.

Let me just tell you, Itachi stroke Kakashi with Genjutsu...he was/is/will(be) the best in that field and he can kill almost everyone with one move of finger(by putting them under genjutsu,only if they don't have a friend that can snap them out of it or someone who can control nature chakra and put it in himself) it is just that he didn't want to kill Kakashi ^^

Well, Kakashi didn't have much of a choice, he had to protect Sakura, and if he did show fear, Sasuke would have raped him like Sasuke raped ... no one, Like Killer Bee raped Sasuke

However, i dont think that Kakashi would let himself be killed without bringing out Sasuke too, because he has too many jutsus to use (yeah, kakashi fan-boys use this sentence a lot, but im not one of them) and he is not dumb!
He have a sharingan too and he saw how weak Sasuke was in there, he tought he could have a chance, ... and that was going to be a fight that i wanted to see.

Tought, Kakashi would have died there, causing some permanent damage to Sasuke (like Hiruzen did with Orochimaru, Master vs Student)

Kakashi has a chance against sauske lets think it then sauske was weakened and without chakra so he couldnt use susanoo for long Kakashi can defeat sasuke without his mangekyo powers after itachi fight Kakashi was sure how to dodge or counter tsyukomy and i am sure amaterasu is out of an option chakra is low leaving only on elemental ninjutsu which Kakashi is stronger in

You also forgot that Rock Lee beat Sasuke and Rock Lee is weaker than Guy, and Guy is of equal strength with Kakashi.

How can we compare power levels after such a long time span?

Oh, and as others have said, Sasuke was really weak, so we cannot be sure as to who would win the fight.

since itachi's tsukuyomi failed on kakashi (MS) what tells us that a wannabe tsukuyomi genjutsu will work on kakashi?

then if sasuke releases amaterasu and kakashi releases kamui both at same time sasuke will end up in another dimension and kakashi burned= TIE

if sasuke is blind like on their last fight...... sasuke will take some time to realize where he is and in that time kakashi can kamui his @$$ out......
