Is kakashi going blind?

But sasuke is going blind, so it doesnt have the same effect.

We need to discuss why that is the case... I've created multiple threads discussing this theory....

1. Madara and his brother were the first Uchiha's to unlock MS
2. Thus the hidden scroll explaining MS was created by Madara.
3. Madara wanted to rule uncontested, yet the Uchiha disowned him.
4. Why would Madara leave the TRUE secret to MS in the basement.
5. How did Madara and his brother get MS to begin with??? I doubt they killed their best friend each... What were their motives if they were the first to unlock MS?? Were they just both horrible people?

I was wondering about that too, when itachi and sasuke used ameterasu, their eye bleed, but what about madara does he was ameterasu too then? why was he going blind, and not kakashi.

A person with MS doesn't require the victims eye to be Mangekyou in order to achieve EMS, it just has to be a second sharingan to negate the decay of sight.
Although, evidently you won't get EMS if you only have normal sharingan and obtain another pair of eyes from someone who has MS.

Anyway, Kakashi will inevitably go blind unless he obtains another sharingan (Itachi didn't 'transplant' his eyes into Sasuke, he just transfered his powers and it had the same effect). It could be that Kishimoto put some deeper unrevealed effect from transplanting the Sharingan.. Also, Kakashi lose significantly more chakra from using his Sharingan whilst Itachi (an uchiha) and probably any other uchiha with a fully mature Sharingan, can keep it up almost constantly.

Right, Kakashi needs to kil Sasuke in order to take his Sharingan and have EMS

But he is losing his eyesight. otherwise what was that talk with Itachi for.

From my point of view... only certain techniques cause the MS eye to bleed... specifically Amaretsu...

Itachi's Tsukumi didn't do as much damage to the eyes... Itachi just overused those techniques...

Sasuke's MS is different though... yet he is using Itachi's Amaretsu... I think it is the technique the damages the eye...


Think of the Rinnengan... Circles not intersecting... Pein's techniques involves controlling everything with separate bodies... apart from his own... he needs to stab someone with a rod to make that connection

VS.... Sasuke's Circle eyes that intersect... and he can enter a person's mind just by looking at them...

Basically showing the difference between the eyes's powers, visually... I wouldn't be surprised if Sasuke's powers could rival the individual powerful techniques of Pein's.... just different types/techniques...

hmm I think he only goes blind in his sharingan eye, and he can still use his right eye; also I'm not sure about this but I think one can use MS even if he is blind (though he can't aim amaterasu or that dimension thingy) so maybe Kakashi discovered a workaround to EMS

Kakashi's MS looks like Itachi's because he copied it...

Obitio's eye has its own way to for the MS...

Madara's was different that his brothers, and different that Itachi's... So there are multiple ways of forming the MS... and in theory... every individual's MS would be different.

Kakashi's eye won't go blind... because its not Obitio's MS... its Itachi's... Kakashi could not ever figure out how to use MS... without copying it from Itachi... because he is not of the Uchiha bloodline...

I don't think he copied Itachi's MS, Kakashi's MS is different to Itachi's. Sure it's similar, but if it was a copy - wouldn't it look exactly alike?

Kakashi has sharingan as one eye, and he uses the MS too, but shows no sign of going blind in the sharingan eye, how come..

if kakashi was going blind then wouldnt only a couple of uses cause him to go permanently blind since he is not an uchiha?? if regular sharingan already causes him to be exhausted, and ms exhausts him even more isnt it reasonable to think he would go blind very very fast from using ms, unless of course he isnt going blind. and wouldnt kamui cause kakashi to bleed since it is a ninjutsu like ameterasu??? its said in the manga one sharingan eye is genjutsu and the other ninjutsu, ameterasu is the ninjutsu and so is kamui so wouldnt kamui cause kakashi to bleed just like ameterasu??

look at itachi, he has that demon behind him with 4 place to have eyes, i dont think kakashi has it, so thats why, he doesnt go blind.
