Do you thing Kakashi is strong enough to be hokage and how strong is he compared to the other kages ? I wonder if he could beat A ?
A isn't a great example, he's a super-powerful taijutsu fighter. A has lightning power, but we haven't seen him use any ranged attacks, any genjutsu, any strategy, etc. A also doesn't seem to have the powerful black lightning attacks that Darui has, and doesn't have any kekkei genkai.
In a straight battle, 1:1, I think A would beat both Tsunade and the Mizukage. Tsunade is a medical-nin, not a front-line fighter so it's a bad matchup. Mizukage seems more like a nuanced, strategy fighter.
Could A beat the Tuschikage? That would be a great fight, but I think A could probably win. A vs Gaara? Another toss-up.
Now let's look at Kakashi: He isn't super-powerful at taijutsu but he is considered to be as good at is as a normal ninja can get. He has sharigan (including MS/Kamui), knows a huge amount of ninjutsu, including jutsu of elements which are powerful against lightning. Kakashi knows Chidori, and as we've seen in the fight with A and Sasuke, Chidori can pierce the lightning armor of A. He has a variety of dog summons, the ability to use clones, an excellent grasp of strategy, and a lot of wisdom.
Let's look at the matchups again:
Kakashi vs Tsunade: Kakashi wins (Tsunade isn't a front-line fighter, plain and simple).
Kakashi vs Mizukage: Tossup, but I think Kakashi can plausibly win this.
Kakashi vs Gaara: Another tossup, but Kakashi has the ability to win, and he has prior knowledge of Gaara's fighting style. Gaara isn't a fast-moving target, so Kamui is a real possibility for 1-hit kill. Chidori goes through sand defenses like butter.
Kakashi vs Tuschikage: Kakashi can win. I suspect the Tuschikage does not have huge chakra. If Kakashi can last through some of the first few big dust attacks, I think he can outlast him.
Kakashi vs A: I honestly think Kakashi has a chance here, especially if he can plan out a strategy. A won't do any planning, he's going to rush in like an idiot. If Kakashi can plant some traps and exploding tags, he could get off to an early advantage.
Kakashi is definitely Kage material and is growing faster than many other ninjas his age. He stacks up comparatively to other kages, and is definitely one of the most powerful ninja in the leaf village if Tsunade is out of the picture.
