I preferred him before using Kamui so much, but it does sorta even the odds against bigger opponents such as Oonoki or Kakuzu. Part 1 Kakashi fighting style > Part 2 IMO.

Too many fans are overlooking his raw skill and prowess in battle as well as outside. Now if he could utilize his Kamui like Obito with interdimension traveling then I'd be fine lol.
He's an exceptionally versatile shinobi, I'd hate for Kamui to have ruined his unique fighting style.

He himself admitted that he got lazy after Sharingan. So, it has affected that aspect of his traits. Kakashi is a passable character in my book. Take him out and the plot wouldn't veer much from the main course.

It's funny. In the beginning of Shippuden he could barely use it twice without going to the hospital for a week. Now he is spamming the living piss out of Kamui. It seems as though once you achieve the "will of fire" then you automatically get infinite chakra. It's disgusting. He should have it limited.

Kakashi would better off without Kumui, IMO, because:

• He would still have access to all of the jutsu he's learned, without the constant damper on his chakra from the Sharingan.
• He wouldn't fall under the "borrowed power" category anymore.
• We would final get our old Kakashi back - the one who actually used other jutsu besides Kumui.
• He would look cooler.

Sakumo was considered to be stronger than Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Tsunade. I'm sure his son could find a way to distinguish himself from Hiruzen.

without kamui kakashi would be a fodder in the war...his jutsus like thousand years of pain can only work on 12 year old naruto, not madara

He should have it as limited as it is in the Pain Invasion Arc, the random hyping and overuse of it is contrived and just plain boring at this point. Kakashi should have the most interesting moveset in the whole show but we NEVER SEE IT because of this one crappy tech.
