Is Kakashi A Better Character With Or Without Kamui?

Is Kakashi a better character with or without Kamui? Or should his Kamui be limited?

He has been spamming it though , but he is really great with both options .

He's better with it, he was hopelessly falling behind all the other main characters and their op power up and abilities. Kamui has given him insurance and keeps him up there with the big boys.

Yeah it was pretty awesome when he fought with the Kubikiribōchō. I hope he didn't just leave it behind. He should keep a scroll so he can summon it at any time!

Well, if Obito had both of his EVERYONE would be screwed. So I for one am happy that Kakashi has it.

Of course he's stronger with it but are you saying that having Kamui hinders his actual character? I've never felt that way because of the way Kakashi himself uses Kamui, he's not one to spam unless it's necessary and look what he's been up against. Lately, he's been fighting 2 of the strongest shinobi to ever exist (Obito and Madara). At this point, Kamui is necessary especially he's used to outsmarting his opponent which is not easy against the strength and knowledge these two possess.

Kakashi is great with or without Kamui, I hardly ever take the "Kamui snipe" scenario in mind he's being put up against another character because it doesn't seem like something that Kakashi considers in a normal 1 v 1 battle scenario. He considered the idea with Kakuzu and Obito but that's about it I believe. But in most scenarios, Kakashi tries to get the job done without using MS.

Edit: It's the fans that take Kamui too far, not Kakashi himself.

Character is not determined by the power of jutsu. Its determined by personality, design, background and mindset. So yes, he is well written and still top 15 without Kamui.

The spamming is out of control but at the same time I get if that's your best feat against an OP character like Jubito or Madara .....then it's fine , either way Kakashi is an amazing character .

He is good even if he didnt have it. He is a well rounded character, he doesn't really have a super special technique besides Chidori, but that also is based off of rasengan. If naruto was a restraunt menu, Kakashi would be a sampler tray. A little bit of everything. lol

I'd like him better without Kamui, He was more badass when he used Riakiri and other jutsu from his arsenal. Kamui spam is getting out of control.

I agree. If it puts him on par with the beloved Uchiha, the fans get so very upset. Though the spamming is a bit too much, but then all the big powers are doing it so kakashi is just falling in line I suppose. The Uchiha's are suppose to be gods with no equal in their minds. everything else is just plain plot or some BS like that :vincent:

OT: Kakashi is fine with Kamui. I will put it like this: I like Kakashi with Kamui but only when he used it as a last resort. Frankly without it he would be in Sakura's shoes....and I would hate to see that.

I fullhartedly agree with this. I try to keep Kamui out of VS debate with Kakashi as he does have other jutsu and his battle prowess stands the tes against some of the best shinobi in the world. I don't mind his Kamui as i've said earlier, but I don't blame kakashi for the kamui spamming. Given the people he is fighting (edo Jin, Obito, Madara) it really is his best option at present.
