Same i really like it as well. Kabuto has no real choice carry on like that forever or end the jutsu! Itachi is dead he dosent need water food etc! Kabutos had it! Tho i fear he may still get away after ending EDO.

Regardless of his logic it's really not as BA as Koto or his other genjutsu. After a moments time of conflicts he records specific events to loop repeatedly. Now, this could make some go alil crazy, but at most the shyt is just plain aggy. IMO its like being tickled until submission lol. Not to mention the prep or side-effects.

I pointed the same thing out on another thread. "Forcing" Kabuto to release Edo Tensei of his own accord is a pretty stupid strategy on Itachi's part. The only reason why Kabuto is still alive is because Itachi can't kill Kabuto before he releases Edo Tensei. And I'm sure Kabuto is eventually gonna realize(if he hasn't already) that releasing Edo Tensei will mean that the Uchiha bros aren't gonna be gentle anymore. Basically, ending Edo will mean the end for Kabuto. So, why would he willingly give up that kind of leverage just to get out of a loop.
He can always do it at a later time. Like after Madara won or something. Its not like he's suffering or anything. I'm sure that Kabuto is still aware of whats going on in Madara's battle. And I'm also sure that his plans are not being compromised by being momentarily stuck in a genjutsu-loop.
[edit] Infact, I'm bold enough to say that Itachi's actually the one thats stuck in the Izanami-loop
Why? Well for starters, Itachi cant kill Kabuto. Which means that Itachi cant end the loop by killing Kabuto. And secondly, it seems that the loop will only end when Kabuto ends Edo Tensei. Which means that although Kabuto's destiny might be set in stone, the timing of his destiny still seems to be in his own hands. Which means that only Kabuto gets to decide when Izanami should end. And Itachi is stuck with Kabuto until Kabuto makes his move.

Itachi said, he holds Kabutos destiny in his hands but Kabuto is the one who will decide it. Itachi said before, that Kabuto already failed and will fail until he has accepted his true self. And I think Kabuto will stay as long in this loop, until he has accepted his failure and won't lie to himself any more.
No 'cause we still have Tobi. And I hope Madara will escape from the Edo Tenseis control in order to prevent from being dissolved due to Kabutos failure. Maybe he uses an Izanagi near to the sages level in order to create himself again :O. But I don't think this will be the end for Madara.

i think Kabuto will be able to find anther wat around the situation. As he is aware of all the technique as a whole (its motive and its ability) he really has to remain calm and think IMO. As Itachi said himself, "every jutsu/technique has a weakness."
Tobi alone wouldnt be able to maintain this war, unless moon's eye is set into play. THis wouls be the war very interesting.
Madara escaping is unlikely and as Kabuto's invention (in a sense) it would be only right that if he loses Madara goes as well. If anything, he should be able to summon Madara or a clone to the location

Izanami turned out to be better then it'd expected, it's something simple but yet really effective and a mind-raping Genjutsu, imagine being in that Genjutsu, things keep happening over and over and over until you are forced to do what you don't want to do.

Izanagi was cleaner, personally I didn't much enjoy Izanami. It's a cool technique, but until it's explained fully it seems a bit too convenient for me.

well, tbh i'm not that impressed by the technique, given it's massive cost. I wasn't impressed by izanagi much either... there are more interesting genjutsu. But it will be awesome when we see it in the anime, genjutsu battles always are.
