Is it worth buying? Kenichi...

Rightstuf.com is having a huge holiday sale that started on the 1st and goes until the 13th, I think. If you want to buy some anime/manga, definitely check it out.

Anyways, Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple is on sale for $40 (plus tax) for both seasons (50 episodes). Have any of you seen it? Is it worth buying? From the AMVs I've seen, it looks pretty cool. Yu Yu Hakusho is my favorite series, and it seems like alot of the training and beating up baddies, which is cool to me.

but be warned the main character will be a little wimpy in the beginning but he gets huge character development through out the anime which is a bonus

I'm on a MAJOR spending spree, so I guess I might as well add it to the list if it's recommended.

I personally really enjoyed the anime and manga for Kenichi. I do warn you though, Kenichi is highly filled with fan service. So if you don't like fan service, or you find fan service distracting from the plot, it may not be for you.

I didn't buy the seasons though, I watched them on netflix. And I must say, kenichi actually had pretty good dubbings. Would I buy them to watch them again? Probably not.

I haven't really seen any shows with that much fanservice. OP was fine, and I find Nanatsu no Taizai's fanservice to be funny. lol I doubt it would bother me at all.

I would probably end up watching it dubbed if I got it, so that's good news.
