Is it Overrated or Underrated? Death Note.

It's been like a week since I made a thread in this 'series'. I'm bored in class and my friend told me to make a thread about Death Note, so I thought I would. So, do you think Death Note is overrated or underrated?

Personally, I'd say it's neither overrated or underrated. I can't really hate on the people that say it's one of the best anime, because it is a really good and well-made show, and I think is deserving of its status. That being said, I don't think I've heard anyone hate on the show, so it can't really be underrated. So, in my opinion, Death Note is neither overrated or underrated.

Sure, a lot people (including me) who´ve seen it love to recommend it and tell everyone it´s one of the best anime/manga out there but I believe it deserves the praise.

In the middle I'll say, neither overrated nor underrated, overall it's one of the top 5 best anime I've seen so far, it was unique indeed =D

I'm the friend who told him to do this! I never really hear people make fun of it.. Cause it was so good. It was awesome except for the ending, I was not a fan of the ending all though you kinda knew it would happen eventually

I love it because the field of psychology heavily interests me, and seeing the way Light and Lawliet fought it out was amazing.

So to me, it's neither overrated nor underrated. It's more like an anime "off-topic." Since most animes are fighting related. This is more psychologically related.
