Lol I was joking it's hard enough having monogamous relationships, it would be hard for those type of polygamous relationships to work but if all parties agree it's there choice but men and women aren't better or worse for participating in it

I guessed as much but it's another recurring topic on NB and not really that funny as many like to believe.

There is always an element of resentment and greater compromise than usual on part of one or more partners who may still consent to live with such arrangements. It's most often relative financial security or emotional blackmail or fear of having to be all alone and be abandoned or all combined that's in work in such arrangements. People believe they have no remedy against it or sometimes really may not have many other options to get out of it. Their most basic needs are being fulfilled and they just settle with it as life is a struggle either way. And in many cases, it's just them living together but one partner is just living in the same building.

There is certainly a lot more drama and power play ongoing or someone being exploited and depressed because of her/his financial or emotional inadequacy to fight back against their situation. And if kids are involved then just multiply the problems. There have been enough murders and conspiracies as result of such relations and still people like to think it may work for them ignoring the effect it's having on other partners.

When you truly love someone, it's a feeling you never felt before. Very different to infatuation and you feel like you finally met your soul mate. Only very lucky people...have that kind of love. Having more than one lover, generally is seen bad mainly because people will have less faith with true love. There is always this one person, you will always love...no matter what.

I will piggy back one what you said because it's magnificent....not just because we're allies either.

This is strictly my opinion mind you, and what I have learned over the years.

The root word "agape" is Greek for "sacrifice." It is the highest form of love. So if you are willing to die for someone, then you are showing that person agape love. For me, that love is reserved for two people only. If there is a third...then it is just lust. Oh and I won't lie to you....I do have self control, but I too struggle with lust. I'm not holy than thou.
