I know this sounds stupid but is it natural to be afraid of something or an issue that can't do any harm? I'm having a dilemma (long story) and I'm afraid to confront it. When I think about it there's nothing to be scared of but when I think about DOING it I just can't, it's hard to explain.
I think it's kind of my brother and dads fault because during my childhood they would make fun of me for being scared (playfully obviously) and I always tried to hide my fear.
How can I build up the nerve to confront the problem?
