Look complaining about it won't fix the forum. Since your in a way doing the same damn thing. You should instead use that time to do better things in life, if you feel the Base is not the same anymore. Look all great things come to an end, so just move on and get over it.

This forum is an open medium and I respect the fact that people can post practically whatever they want no matter their viewpoint or ideology. I am exercising my right to post something which has been eating at my mind whenever I open this site and view its content.

The main purpose of this thread was to gather a consensus from others who were around then to see if maybe I am the one who changed, or if what I am feeling others are aswell.

I mentioned it earlier and I suppose I can use his threads as an example as to what I am referring to, even if he wasn't the sole person who made threads like it, he is known for his threads so maybe you can get an ideas to what I am talking about.

I haven't seen what 2012 Naruto Base looked like, so I wouldn't understand. Though, I do know there is some immature members (I will not say any names.) that post endless '*enter fav jutsu name* GG' and threads that just start ridiculous arguments.

If you're telling me back in the day, those sorts of things rarely happened if ever, then I'm pretty surprised. With how fast some people get banned here, Narutobase keeps a lot of order right now.

(And please do not put me in the pile of '2014 members who ruin this base'. I keep myself in line and respond to threads in respectable and serious ways, if not a slight, unoffensive joke at times.)

You do have a point, however now that the manga is coming to an end, expect the trolls to troll the hell out of everyone before everyone moves on with their life and NB goes inactive, slowly of course.

And that's true, now you always see the typical thread of ''My fav -> your fave, gg'' ''Totsuka GG blitz GG'' ''Naruto borrows power, Sasuke doesn't GG'' ''Eyes -> Body'' ''Sasuke -> Your fav, if you disagree, you're a salty fanboy GG''

It has to come to a point that most of the premium members have stopped coming to the Naruto Discussion because there are too many trolling threads that is barely any fun. It's somewhat tiring.

I suppose that's true, you rarely see any nowadays. I would go to other forums in the base but I want to discuss Naruto, and I wouldn't see where else to go. I guess I can just attribute the trolling to the death rattles of the manga. I guess I just needed to make this thread to vent...

That's the thing, it seems it would be a waste of time considering the social norm of this base has been to troll, and I never was a good producer of that content, but I thoroughly enjoyed the content itself.

Itachi fans are to blame. They took a complete dump on all other fanbases along with Kishi trying to make Itachi look like some sort of god.

If I say "solo" the first thing that pops into your head is Itachi. Other fans have retaliated by copying this trend, but ultimately Itachi fans to blame.

Even with Itachi not in the manga, haters cannot keep their anger contained (I admit, I am one of them but Itachi deserves it).

EDIT: Trolling for some is the only way to survive here. If you post a thread about Kabuto, Kakashi, Oro, Obito, etc you risk being ridiculed by Itachi fans.

I know how you feel but now that naruto is coming to an end you will probably see more trolling threads until the last chapter comes out and then maybe we will be getting some actually threads about what kishimoto missed with the final chapter, like addressing some plot,etc.

I loved this site back in 2012 and before. Threads were actually analytically based instead of shit-flinging based.

Nowadays 90% of threads are about putting others down or shit-flinging.

I havn't seen a quality thread for years.

No it's not the same. Temari fans can be illogical but they don't have "mangafacts".

Itachi fans can be illogical with the use of "mangafacts". This where the problem lies. If I make an Orochimaru appreciation thread, I guarantee you some idiotic Itachi fan will come in with a scan of Orochimaru getting owned.
