Is It A Mistake Adapting The Hiden Novels Out of Order?

I think that they really have to adapt Sakura's novel , to tell you the truth I haven't read it , but I am really curious about the relationship between Sasuke and Sakura , and I think if they adapt it , it will make Sakura more of a likeable character

While the novel does touch on SasuSaku, it did a lot developing her character and did even more for Sasuke. She's been opening up medic clinics, partly to atone for Sasuke's sins of having been on the wrong side of the war, but then she ends up having to clear his name, because someone is framing him for murders and crimes. That's why the redemption of Sasuke in the Sasuke novel hits home so much, because it wasn't that long ago he was still being viewed as a criminal.

It's a little annoying when the novels had their own little timeline and were released chronologically.

Then again I think it's crazy the anime is passing up canon material in favour of their own stories they know nobody likes. Kakashi and Sakura hiden should be animated also.

This. Instead of doing those short films, they could have given us Sakura or Kakashi or the Akatsuki novel.

Kakashi and Gai go on one final mission together, where Kakashi falls in love with the criminal he ends up pardoning as Hokage>the short films.

Sakura proving Sasuke's innocence when he's being framed for mass murder and crimes>Boyhood arc.

Seeing how all the tailed beasts were captured by the two man teams and learning about the dynamics of the teams>Boyhood arc

It is obvious why they changed he timeline of he novels. Studio Pieriot is filled with a huge amount of delusional Naruhina shippers and because of that they want to end Shippuden with the Naruhina wedding which is why the Konaha novel is the last one they are animating. They still wanted to do the Sasuke novel too so they just changed the timeline and had it happen before he wedding instead even if the story suffers for it.
