Is hokage usually the strongest Kage??

with past 4 hokage that statement is true. however, when tsunade became hokage i would say that that statement became false because i'd say almost all other kage besides gaara are stronger
Yea i think you are right on that one and the difference in power is especially seen through Minato and probably the other 1st gen kages are weaker than hashirama because i doubt any of them could go against him with bijus. Yea and i think Tsunade is even weaker than Gaara in my opinion. She seems to be the weakest of the kages right now

the 2nd tsuchikage maybe stronger than the 2nd hokage since the only way he was beaten is that the 2nd mizukage had to sacrifice himself to beat him.also we dont know what the other kages were like so you there is no facts to that statment. the only kages we know about are the ones who are summoned and the current kages.

i just thought of something. this isn't even tsunade's generation of kage. its minato's and hiruzen's (mei and oonoki would be about their ages respectively). its just unfortunate that they both died. either one of them as hokage would make hokage the most powerful kage. so we can think of tsunade as the third choice for hokage of this generation behind minato and hiruzen which is still pretty good if you think about it, seeing as how she still is on the level of kage. so, hokage really is the strongest kage in this generation, minato and hiruzen are just dead but it was still their generation. next generation hokage will also put out the strongest kage, if it is naruto.
That might be true but what do you think about the 1st, 3rd, 4th hokages. They seem to be stronger than other kages. It was stated that hiruzen was the strongest shinobi of his time and a god of ninjas. Minato is stronger than A, gaara's dad, yagura and there is no 4th tsuchikage. 1st of course is the strongest because even Madra said he was the strongest ninja of the time and no one can really go against his mokuton and bijus that he collected.The second hokage i really can't prove due to the lack of info but seems pretty strong. Tsunade we don't even have to talk about her

you are right there are no facts i was just saying that is APPEARS that each of the hokage were the strongest in their generation. id say hashirama for sure because well, he spread the tailed beasts out to balance power which means he had all the power so he was strongest. also, it was said that one side in battle would hire hashirama then the other one hired madara and vice versa. this makes me think hashirama was strongest. 2nd hokage had edo tensei, strongest water user, and space time so i think he could probably beat muu but nothing for sure says that. 3rd was god of shinobi so i think he was strongest in his generation. stronger than oonoki because that would be his generation. raikage already said that minato was stronger than him and i think that raikage is strongest kage in this generation which means minato was strongest in this generation.

i dont know about minato being stronger than A cause they have different styles of fighting also minato thinks before he attacks and uses strategy to defeat foes. A just goes in and bashes everything with power and speed alone to be honest his fighting style is close to naruto's fighting style(im saying they are straight foward fighters).also i think raikage was reffering to speed not overall power.

Raikage said in a recent manga that minato was a shinobi that he (raikage) thought would never be surpassed. this means that minato is stronger than A. and in a battle where the most important element is speed, which would be the case between minato and A, the faster person wins and thats minato.
Do u remember in the manga that A himself states that he could not surpass minato(no in every anime when they someone cannot be surpassed it means that the person is more skilled and in this case it is minato). No naruto is not exactly like raikage he thinks and forms a plan like his previous fights with pain and kakuzu. even with what you said minato is stronger because they have similar speed(minato is faster slightly) and the person who is smarter wins. Not to mention that minato knows ninjutu and fuininjutsu(seals) which would give him the upper hand in a fight. I can't see how minato can lose this. It also seemed pretty clear in their previous fight that minato simply outclassed A when A was going all out.

That is false at times the hokage could be the most decorated and powerful kage like minato namikaze, but the fact is its only partly correct, yes its possible but the mizukage could be way more powerful or the kazaikage, it depends on there strength , also this is a spoiler alert but technically there is no sixth hokage yet because danzo died bfeore he was fully elected you see danzo manipulated the fire daimyo but he did not have the agreement from all the jonin at the time so he was a candidate, also many people beileve that to be kage the past kage must be dead, this is wrong as the third reired and then minato namikaze became the fourth, then he died and the third was reinstated.

It's false. Considering tsunade, all the other kages r stronger than her..... I think the 2nd was also weak compared to other kages of that era....
