I wouldn't go as far to say unsurpassed but yeah I think people are sleeping on Madara because every battle to him was either a joke, a way to test his power, a way to unleash newly given/formed powers/jutsu, etc... The only battle that we even see Madara exhausted is against Hashi....(follow this up down below)

As you said Ambivalence, this whole thing is speculative. As I wrote before there are WAY too many factors and versions of both Madara and Sasuske, but one thing that I think is undebatable is how the OP wrote Sasuke "would wipe the floor with Madara several times over". No one - NO ONE - when you get into the tier of Madara, Hashi, Sasuke, Naruto, etc... (there are questionable some others) is "wiping" the floor with any one.

I don't mind these threads....but I think certain things have to be defined like what would "Prime Madara" be? and is he going against a Sasuke who CURRENTLY loses his Sage-Enhanced Rinnegan after a couple of uses OR a Sasuke who we saw fighting Kayuga that can keep it activated for what seemed to be as long as he needed.


Madara with just EMS was a contender against Hashi in Sage-Mode and even then Madara was using the Kyuubi. I KNOW no one on this thread is going to dispute Hashi being the true God of Shinobi and when I try and picture Sasuke in that battle - I just see Sasuke barely having his Perfect Susano activated before he is being pummeled by never-ending wooden-buddha punches =D

So you're referring to JJ Madara w/ one Rinnegan. Well, Madara didn't actually run away from Sasuke, I think his main objective was to attain the other eye. That's because according to feats, JJ Madara w/ one Rinnegan is inferior to Sasuke. But despite that, I called it a draw because of JJ Madara's near infinite chakra levels and the immortality factor which gives him resistance or advantage in some aspects to make up for his lack of feats compared to Sasuke. Refer below for more.

Firstly, I hope you won't disagree with me if I say JJ Madara (even with one Rinnegan) was slightly nerfed against Naruto and Sasuke. He could have done noticeably more than what he did. Secondly, the only reason I called JJ Madara w/ one Rinnegan equal to Sasuke is because of JJ Madara's near infinite chakra levels and that immortality factor. Sasuke is better by feats.

In other words, going by feats:
Rinnegan Sasuke > JJ Madara w/ one Rinnegan
But due to Madara's extreme chakra levels and the immortality factor:
Rinnegan Sasuke = JJ Madara w/ one Rinnegan

However, JJ Madara w/ double Rinnegan is equal to Sasuke by feats, he is still inferior in the eye power department (Sasuke's Rinnegan is superior + Susanoo) but equals it in the body power department (Six Paths Senjutsu + Godoudamas). But I declared him superior because of the very same reason that he has near infinite chakra levels and immortality.

By feats:
Rinnegan Sasuke = JJ Madara w/ double Rinnegan

What feats ? Sasuke and Naruto negged his CT shower and Sasuke negged his IT that's his only feat. More chakra doesn't make one stronger but the immortality give him an edge.

Yes, he did, he admitted that Naruto and Sasuke aren't just kids and that he needs to get his second Rinnegan. That was also before he got completely taken by surprise (again) by Sasuke's Ameno combo. Since he swapped with a Limbo clone - which got sealed - he was basically screwed, since he had no way of dealing or reacting to Sasuke, let alone handling him and Naruto at the same time. He couldn't have done much either way, and is definitely below Sasuke:

1. No second eye means no PS
2. 6 Paths get countered by Sasuke's
3. Shinjuu gets cut by Sasuke's PS if he attempts firing Juubidamas (assuming Sasuke even lets him try it)
4. TSB get easily countered like in canon
5. A single Limbo clone is pretty much a non-factor.

In a sentence - Sasuke beats 1R JJ Madara, this really isn't debatable.
