What I said is a fact, not an opinion, BUT to bring you in on the conclusion of my view sparing you the details, Nothing truly matters. Matterness itself is a concept made by humans only, as far as the universe is concerned, its all a process. However as human beings we are able to observe and feel the world, which puts an illusionary matterness to everything, however unreal it is, we are bound by it and are entitled to care, BUT only about the things we want to care about, the things that are "almost" worth it, and by that I mean the things that are as close to mattering as it gets, above all, Love for family, basically and scientifically that is also an illusion dependent on emotions however from a Universal point of view, it is the strongest and purest force among us, and as the fundamental law of the universe supports
the survival and prosperation of strength, I think the bond of love is subject for evolution therefore certified by the Universe, thus as close to matterness as possible, yet still ewssentially an illusion.

He is speaking the truth life is like 80% full of misery and the rest is periodic happiness. I leaned that early in my life. I can honestly say that I find life higly depressing no matter how hard I try to find enjoyment. It's not cause I have depression it's just life has more negatives to offer than positives. I'm only 18 by the way.

Although this thread is not about depression. As much as I love discussing depression. I sympathize with you greatly.

I see what your saying, but let me ask you this, what is the difference between illusion and reality?

If we can physically feel the reality around us but yet our viewpoint (you may feel the need to correct things I say based purely upon the terminology I use but please try to understand the true meaning I am conveying) is a mere illusion, then I ask what is the difference between illusion and reality? what does it matter?

Animals eat so they can live, they flee from danger so that they can live......they live so they can find mates and reproduce, but what is the point of the children they have? the same thing, they eat to live but for what? to reproduce and have more children? most animals seem to have pointless lives ( I say most because I am excluding dogs that are trained to assist fire fighters and blind people and such situations like that) so what is the point in them striving to keep living?

Humans on the other hand have something animals do not, a desire to find a purpose and a desire to understand one another. When a lion devours a zebra or feeds its young it doesn't desire to understand the personality and character of the zebra or cub, it just acts on instinct. Pointless instinct that is in place to keep it and its cub alive but why?

Humans on the other hand have always strived to find true purpose and understand one another but although we have not ever achieved these things just the simple fact that we want to and care is purpose in itself.

I know this may not entirely relate to the points you have made but it's just my addition to what you were saying.

Thanks man, my opinion doesnt differ from most of you good people I just see it from a different perspective but the conclusion is the same, when I said nothing matters, I did not mean people dont matter, but silly things like opinions and what people think of you and such bs, that is worth about the same shit as solog0d over here, is worth, zero attention.
