Is anyone annoyed with Hinata Hyuga's character?

Actually the Juubi/Sage and his sons/Kaguya/Madara/Sasuke and Naruto becoming the new reincarnations is the current plot.Sakura is only involved by association with Sasuke and Naruto.

Getting Sasuke back has been the plot since 237 and still is as they have yet to have a conclusion to that. Sakura is involved there and by no association. By her association she gets a bigger role in the current plot than any other character. So. either way you look at it she is involved.

Sakura is not involved to much in the peace plot as seen with the pein and war arc her panel time goes down, But bringing Sasuke back to team7 is the main story in the manga so Sakura gets a lot of panel time.

Well, granted, I only read to Chapter 610. So I /haven't/ read everything that has happened. (Including Neji dying, but that is really old news anyway.) Sakura is a bloody crybaby, and no one can ever deny that. However, she has a bloody good reason to cry most of the time and on top of that, she was around 12 or 14 before Shippuden. Girls cry. Whoop-de-do.
I only remember seeing Hinata cry...maybe twice? But the host is right. Once she cried because she knew she was a failure and suddenly gains a bout of confidence whenever Naruto shoots her some encouragement. Then the second time I don't even remember why she was crying, but I do remember that it was kind of stupid.
Hinata's whole goal in life is to make Naurto notice her and to ultimately love her by proving that she isn't a failure. Sakura's whole goal in life was to make Sasuke notice her and ultimately fall in love with her by becoming a good ninja. Their goals in life weren't that different. They still aren't.
Whenever Hinata was fighting Pain, she immediately jumped to the rescue and got her butt kicked. Let me also remind you that Pain was a very powerful character and she is very lucky that she didn't die on the spot. Sakura allowed for her whole body to be used by Chiyo in a fight with Sasori, which was one of the first true displays of her training results. Every time someone says anything about Sasuke, that is all that Sakura thinks about. H/ll, any time you see her in the manga she is either talking about herself, how badly Naruto is doing because of his goal to find and stop Sasuke(and it's her fault -commence crying-), or freaking Sasuke (-commence bawling-).
I agree that when it comes to the usefulness of a character, Sakura has been leaps and bounds more useful. After all, she is a medical ninja and the apprentice of the current Hokage. Sakura has been keeping the plot going since she was introduced. She isn't exactly a background character, but isn't too far in the foreground either. Hinata has the byakugan which shouldn't make her anything to laugh at unless she is standing next to Neji (or another Hyuga), but she has constantly been portrayed as someone who can't win no matter how hard she tries. Hinata is definatly a background character who, though I enjoy her appearances and think that it would be a nice gesture to put her and Naruto together, doesn't do much.
We can't really get upset at Hinata or Sakura for being obsessed with their, well, obsessions though. Just look at the series. Tsunade turned into a raving butthole because her boyfriend and brother died. She had been obsessed with them and their deaths for a majority of her life. However, Tsunade gets over her obsession with the help of Naruto.
Lets move on to Ino, who is just as freaking obsessed with Sasuke but doesn't get the amount of panels as Sakura. Granted, she knows how to keep it to herself and wasn't ever as open as Sakura, but she was just as obsessed.
Then we can look at Karin for a minute? Do I really have to say anything else?

That statement is very true. But I don't honestly believe that Sakura (remember, i've only read to 610 so far so don't hang me with a rope) will ever be able to kill Sasuke.
