I don't think there are any fraps maybe, other then that search screen recorder and u can use the trial versions.

there are free screen recorders, an open source one is camstudio.org

Camstudio is good, camtasia is awesome but it's a trial, I believe they give a 60 day trial unless they changed it. I used to use it for software/photoshop tutorials.

If you want good quality, I would suggest camtasia for recording desktop, Fraps for gaming.

Of course they are paid, but can be free if you want to get a serial from a website
