" It is finally time to start learning the remainder of the medical techniques so that you become eligible to use them in battle! Its a short list since most were covered throughout your trainings. The same goes for future questions, just post it here and link me via visitor messages or in the lounge. "

One of the coolest techniques in the medical section if you ask me. Perhaps I'm being bias because of my affinity towards Poison. This is a simply technique that allows you to raise your resistance a step further than the ordinary resistance technique. This however, doesn't prevent you from being affected by poison, toxins or venoms. Instead, it halts the progression/effects. So if a poison progressively paralyses you as time passes, it will halt it at the point in which you raised your resistance. This technique can't be used before being infected as a way to preemptively counter assaults. The technique costs a move to activate but it passively drains chakra to sustain it, so you are indeed able to perform other techniques while is active. Be weary though, that it drains a lot of chakra to sustain, unless you specialize in poison and become a master. I won't make you guys perform this technique, just ask any questions that you may have.

(Iryo Ninjutsu: Doku Teikouryoku) Medical Technique: Poison Resistance
Type: Supplementary
Rank: N/A
Range: N/A
Chakra: N/A (40x(Z), with Z = the number of turns while using it)
Damage: N/A
Description: The user will raise his resistance enabling him to stop the progression of a poison, toxin or venom he might have been contaminated with after feeling its first effects. This will not cure the poisoning but rather stop its progression so the user can continue to fight, hopefully winning the fight, to then be able to treat the poisoning. This is a passive skill that only consumes a move when activated, passively draining chakra, focus and stamina from the user as each turn passes.
Note: Poison masters will be able to do this technique with half the chakra cost.

Similar to the puppeteer's technique, you basically create thin threads of chakra that are visible. Within range, you release the threads to essentially latch yourself to a chosen target's tenketsu. You'll generally be focusing around the chakra points around the target's heart, so that you link each other's chakra flow. One will sync with the other, and what one feels, the other will as well. This technique can be used to keep someone alive, by effectively sharing your healthy state. Another technique that doesn't need actual performance. All I want is that you guys ask me questions and give me potential scenarios for usages in battle or just in general.

(Iryō Ninjutsu: Chakra No Ito) Medical Technique: Chakra Threads
Rank: B-Rank
Type:Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This jutsu makes threads of chakra that the user weaves around there target, somewhat similar to those used by puppet users. The threads then embed themselves into the target and connect both the user's chakra flow and the target's chakra flow directly by the tenketsu surrounding their hearts and in that area. Because of this, the heart rate and chakra frequency of both ninjas equalize and become in-sync in the areas surrounding their hearts. Upon doing this, any alteration between the chakra flow of one ninja will affect the other in the same manner. If one ninja dies, so does the other. These threads are unbreakable unless you use a strong cutting jutsu (A-Rank and above). The technique can also be used to keep an ally alive by sharing with him ones life-force and forcefully making his heart beat as it feeds off the users own heart. This technique only affects the heart but as its the primary organ to sustain life it can easily cause affect the targets and users life.
Note: Only ninjas trained in medical jutsu or a Fuuma Clan member can use this jutsu.

This technique was used as an example in one of your previous trainings but I feel like I should touch on it regardless. The initiation of this technique is very similar to an Espada's Cero technique, a dense focus point of chakra that goes from translucent green to bright red. Its simply a beam of concentrated aggressive medical chakra, more or less around the dimensions of a spear/your fingers in terms of diameter. Upon physical contact with a living organism, it will turn the tissue into a pulp akin to a burn wound produce by high temperatures. This technique is highly concentrated so it can pierce through defenses of up to B rank. This means that if your opponent/target is wearing an armor, you'd still be able to potentially get to their living tissue. Perform this technique on my clones, analyze it and ask any questions. Its quite simple, yet quite unique in its own right.

(Iryo Ninjutsu: Tsuyoi Kōsen) Medical Ninjutsu: Strong Beam
Type: Offensive
Rank: A-Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: A high level medical technique in which the user gathers medical chakra, akin to the Shosen Jutsu technique, into his index and middle fingers, forming a dense chakra focus point. This chakra quickly changes from a light, translucent green to a heavy, bright red color as the user points his fingers outwards, unleashing a powerful chakra beam. The chakra beam, however, has different properties from normal chakra and, unlike the technique which serves as its basis, has no healing effect, quite the contrary. If it hits an enemy living organism, its aggressive nature injures the targeted tissues, creating an effect similar to a severe burn. The cells burst open as if having been hit by a high temperature, reducing themselves to a mushy pulp as the beam travels through them. If undefended, the beam can easily pierce through an enemy in a fast manner. The travelling speed of the beam is akin to that of a similar ranked lightning technique. The down side of the technique is that, when it collides with an elemental technique, it acts as a simple, concentrate chakra beam, capable of overcoming B-Rank defenses and only being negated by A-Rank ones.

A technique that won't get used very often. This one rivals the Yang Healing technique but requires multiple medical shinobi to perform. Essentially what you want is to pick the most suitable candidate to lead the procedure as the rest fuel it with healing chakra. With a DNA sample of the target, the process begins as their DNA is used as a map to bring back the patient to a full recovery. This technique has been confirmed of being unable to heal someone who has opened the 8th gate. This technique doesnt need to be performed, just questions if any.

(Iryo Ninjutsu: Chikatsu Saisei no Jutsu) Medical Technique: Healing Resuscitation Regeneration
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Chakra: 70 (per ninja, per turn)
Damage: N/A (can allow complete recovery)
Range: Short
Description:
Chikatsu Saisei is an advanced medical Ninjutsu technique that requires between 3 to 5 medical ninjas, depending on the injuries of the target. The patient will be placed in the center of an area marked with kanji inscriptions for the procedure, while a medical ninja will sit at each corner, in specific areas of the kanji inscriptions. Another medical ninja will sit and lead the procedure. The accessory ninjas serve to fuel the technique with healing chakra while the lead ninja is the one who controls the process and ensures that precise chakra control is kept, acting as a regulator. The trick to this technique is using a strand of the patients hair as a medium. The hair will be placed near or inside the wound and will serve as a template and source for the medical chakra. Using the patients hair as a DNA source and template, the lead ninja can use the medical chakra to heal the injuries, using the DNA information as its guideline. This effectively allows a much higher rate of healing and, as long as the patient is alive, it can achieve complete healing of any physical injury or disease. The technique can span between 1 turn to 4 turns, the healing rate depending on how many ninjas are performing the technique: 3 ninjas, 300 health points per turn; 4 ninjas, 400 health points per turn; 5 ninjas, 500 health points per turn

Awesome technique. No questions.

(Iryō Ninjutsu: Chakra No Ito) Medical Technique: Chakra Threads
Good way to keep an ally alive until one can perform a procedure to properly heal them. Now, how does genjutsu work if this is being used? If a genjutsu is placed on one of the linked people and affects their heart in some way, does that extend to the other user?

(Iryo Ninjutsu: Tsuyoi Kōsen) Medical Ninjutsu: Strong Beam

*Wishes my Ulquiorra bio could use this* ;-;

I focus my aggressive medical chakra into my right index and middle finger, pointing it toward the head of the clone. I then release a thin red beam that, upon contact with the clone's forward, sears through its flesh, reducing the tissue affected to a pulp. The clone then disperses shortly afterward.

(Iryo Ninjutsu: Chikatsu Saisei no Jutsu) Medical Technique: Healing Resuscitation Regeneration

No questions. Pretty neat technique but you'll be hard pressed to find 3 to 5 med nin in the NW. xD

1.
The first technique states "Note: Poison masters will be able to do this technique with half the chakra cost."
So this means it can also be used by non-poison specialist though at the cost of full chakra?

2.
2nd jutsu.
Similar to the jutsu Meredith used on Gray in Fairytail.
Since when one is affected by genjutsu, the second is also affected, what happens if one of them break the genjutsu, does the genjutsu of the other auto breaks?
The term "sustain life" of the other contradicts with the "if one dies, the second dies too" why die if the living one can just revive the dead one with his living heart since one can sustain the other?

This jutsu is useful to keep a less stonger ally going in battle without the fear of loosing out to strenght, chakra and endurance.
Can also be used on the opponent, so that him harming you means he'll be harming himself too. Apprently he won't be able to kill you.

The technique is short ranged, does this mean, the person you are connected to cannot go past short range or the threads would break? Does the establishment of the thread needs hand contact? Does the thread affect one's freedom of movement and dexterity?

3.
Facing sensei's clone, I begin to concentrate medical chakra on the tip of my right index finger, oversaturating it until its gives a heavy bright red color. Then I release it by shooting the beam towards the clone's head, destroying his brain.
A very good offensive technique. Straight forward as I am guessing, the path of the beam can be changed or bent. Can it?
Can affect internals organs as a whole seeing the beam is thin but if the organ is big, like the lungs now, would only the part being hit would be affected or the entire lung? Can this also turn bones to paste?

4.
If its limitation is only the damage done by the 8th gate, does this mean this is able to heal fatal injuries? So with this one, since one is been healed according to his dna template, would it not require the various processes like extraction, bone healing, temperature decrease, etc., since it healing at a go?

Mudo: "Now, how does genjutsu work if this is being used? If a genjutsu is placed on one of the linked people and affects their heart in some way, does that extend to the other user?"
After you've linked yourself with the patient, whatever he feels, you feel and vise versa. If an illusion is played on one person, it will naturally transfer onto the other one.

Priest: So this means it can also be used by non-poison specialist though at the cost of full chakra?
That's correct, even Medical Shinobi that are not specializing in the branch of Poison may use this technique at full chakra cost.

Priest: Since when one is affected by genjutsu, the second is also affected, what happens if one of them break the genjutsu, does the genjutsu of the other auto breaks?

The term "sustain life" of the other contradicts with the "if one dies, the second dies too" why die if the living one can just revive the dead one with his living heart since one can sustain the other?
If one breaks the genjutsu, the effects which are synced would transfer and naturally break them out as well. The whole dying aspect is referring to a situation where one of the two dies after the Chakra Thread technique has been implemented. Meaning, if I activate it to sustain your life, and then someone kills either you or me, that effect will transfer to both.

Priest: Straight forward as I am guessing, the path of the beam can be changed or bent. Can it? Can affect internals organs as a whole seeing the beam is thin but if the organ is big, like the lungs now, would only the part being hit would be affected or the entire lung? Can this also turn bones to paste?
No, the path of the beam can't be changed or bent. It travels in a linear fashion much like a bolt of lightning or an ordinary projectile. Although the surface area of the beam is small, it would more or less affect the entire lung because you'd be piercing directly through it, meaning oxygen wouldn't be able to be held inside. This is all situational, but in most cases, if it bursts the tissue directly through, it would not allow the organ to function properly. As for the bones question; They can't turn to waste, they would turn to ash if anything, but in this particular case it would simply pierce through it as it would an ordinary solid defense.
Priest: If its limitation is only the damage done by the 8th gate, does this mean this is able to heal fatal injuries? So with this one, since one is been healed according to his dna template, would it not require the various processes like extraction, bone healing, temperature decrease, etc., since it healing at a go?
Well, the 8th gate is not the only limitation. Things such as decapitation also play a part. Unless of course, you are immortal like Hidan, then you'd be able to solve the issue. You can basically heal anything that doesn't cause insta-death as well as the 8th gate, which is more or less turning your body into ash near instantly. The only process one would need to take as a leading healer would be the foundational steps for any procedure like raising your resistance, cleansing, diagnosing, etc. Aside from that, the entire technique would make up for the other techniques you've learned thus far.

OOC: Finally time to teach you my favorite techniques! I'll only have you guys ask questions about the techniques and give me a possible scenario where or how you'd use/apply it in battle or in the NW.

Although a neat technique and one of my favorites, it is basically a glorified water technique that creates insect-like claws to increase your striking/slicing range. These are like more aggressive chakra scalpels used to cut and penetrate from the outside and not necessarily used for surgeries. There is nothing about them that differentiate them from ordinary water claws in terms of strength and weaknesses with other elements.

( Iryō Suiton: Mizukamakiri ) - Medical Water Style: Water Praying Mantis
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: After forming four hand seals, the user can form giant insect-like claws on their arms made of water, extending the range of attack. One can also apply chakra flow through the claws akin to the chakra scalpel, increasing the attack's sharpness and thus penetrative force.

A very neat technique to remove poison. This basically allows you to bypass the other poison extracting methods you learned. The downside is that you have to focus on it, but that was also the case for the other method. This is definitely a useful technique.

( Iryō Suiton: Suika ) - Medical Water Style: Water Mosquito
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A ( -20 damage as the poison is removed )
Description: After using the Tiger seal, the user creates water mosquitoes, that can be used to nullify poison in a target's body. Designed specifically to suck out poison, the user is unable to use anything else while concentrating on the target. Despite being a healing jutsu, the several mosquitoes cause pain to the body as it heals it.

The technique both of you are probably most interested about. This is a set-up technique. By that I mean, you have to create a special jellyfish out of water chakra with special healing properties. This technique is very vague but we can't pretend it is an Oral Rebirth or Yang-Healing type of technique. When you are damaged, the jellyfish will activate and begin healing the damage. This will not re-grow missing limbs or anything extreme like that. It would for example however, heal the end of where your arm was sliced off, stopping the bleeding. This technique should be more looked at the lines of healing things such as tissue damage caused by blunt trauma, or slashes, being impaled etc etc. According to the damage, it heals up to 200 points, which is most of the techniques that exist. But touching back on the subject of the other healing technique, if you instantly die, or are in a really fatal situation, this wouldn't do the work. This is merely a water host with healing properties, it is not a full fledged Medical Shinobi with access to all the healing techniques, so you shouldn't view this as a miraculous jellyfish that can bring you back to life. Tread carefully when using this technique and don't hand it out like candy to your fellow teammates and such!

( Iryō Suiton: Mizukurage ) - Medical Water Style: Water Jellyfish
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra: 30 ( restores up to 200 chakra and heals up to 200 damage )
Damage: N/A
Description: By applying jellyfish to a person's form in advance, the jellyfish can store up and spread chakra throughout its host to allow for quick recovery from a recent injury. This technique drains the jellyfish completely, causing each use to have a one time use.
Note: Can be used twice in all.

Jeez. Four hand seals is a little steep for such a basic concept. In battle I personally don't see myself using this; maybe if it didn't require any handseals this would be a great tool to use in close quarters combat, something to create at a moment's notice to get the jump on someone in close range (reminds me of the Samurai Saber technique in this sense), but other than that I can't see any other practical applications, especially in its current state.

( Iryō Suiton: Suika ) - Medical Water Style: Water Mosquito

I'm really interested in the bit about pain being induced through the mosquitoes that are created with this technique. Possible way to break out of a genjutsu? If so, how would that pain threshold be quantified? As A-ranked pain? Pretty straight-forward otherwise, I'll definitely consider using this as oppose to the other methods of poison extraction. Poison users in general are pretty rare in the NW, but I'm sure it'll come in handy regardless.

( Iryō Suiton: Mizukurage ) - Medical Water Style: Water Jellyfish

Awesome. I have no questions for this technique, you explained it well. I love that it can be "pre-applied" before battle, so this'll be a staple technique to use especially in the NW.

After you've linked yourself with the patient, whatever he feels, you feel and vise versa. If an illusion is played on one person, it will naturally transfer onto the other one.

That's correct, even Medical Shinobi that are not specializing in the branch of Poison may use this technique at full chakra cost.

1. Like Mudo said, 4 handseal is rather too much for a B-rank CQC jutsu. In addition, what the elemental interaction of this, equal or weak to elemental chakra?
There are lots of elemental jutsu that can coat hand so I may not even use this. Chakra scalpel also requires too much handseals but there is more to it than just brute damage.

2. Very nice jutsu, you could use even in battle although you'll be limited to taijutsu. It does not mention the amount of turns it'll take to suck out the whole poison, 1 turn, 2 turns?. I'm guessing just a turn which works for me. I guess it cures all poison including custom made? Does it also heal the effect of poison if it has already begun?

3. Very nice jutsu indeed. Gives chakra and heals. Is the chakra it gives what it uses to heal? How long does healing takes place? Can it heal mental damage, like from tsukiyomi?

I see myself pre-applying this on myself before battle so I have a second chance should I receive heavy or little damage.

Can someone choose to make it not activate yet or its automated?

The pain is equivalent to a D-Ranking technique (The -20 Damage) so you wouldn't be able to release from high ranking genjutsu.

Priest:

1. Like Mudo said, 4 handseal is rather too much for a B-rank CQC jutsu. In addition, what the elemental interaction of this, equal or weak to elemental chakra?

Like I mentioned above, the claws follow the same ordinary strengths and weaknesses of any other water technique.

The turn it takes to suck out all the poison would equate to the turns you've been lingering or have had the poison spread throughout your system, or exposed to it. As for curing 100%, it is all situational on how the poison is built. If its just some form of paralyzing poison, yeah it would cure it. But if its a poison that somehow caused a chain reaction of cellular destruction, where you'd begin losing muscle tissue or something along those lines, you'd need to use other methods to heal the harm done.

3. Very nice jutsu indeed. Gives chakra and heals. Is the chakra it gives what it uses to heal? How long does healing takes place? Can it heal mental damage, like from tsukiyomi?

No, it restores 200 of your chakra, and also heals 200 of your damage points. The length of the healing process depends on the damage done to you. This isn't some form of Samehada healing/restoring jutsu or Oral rebirth as I mentioned before. You should look at it like Mythical Palm, but on a lesser level. So for small injures, like gashes, being stabbed, pierced etc etc, it would take a turn to fully recover. For something more major, common sense would have to be applied on whether or not it can even heal it. As it stands, the activation is automatically activated through chakra. And you can't apply this to yourself unless a clone does it for you. What I mean is, you cant apply it to your own person, it has to be somebody else. (Like a clone, or someone else with access to medical techniques)

I would have to get confirmation on healing mental damage as a whole, to even begin answering that question.

The bread and butter of the lesson!

Medicine

(Heishi Piru) Soldier Pills
Type: Supplementary
Description and Background:Soldier pills are a more combat aimed variation of the military ration pill. Upon ingesting the pill, your chakra supply doubles, but burns at a greatly accelerated rate due to the "pressure" involved. Upon ingesting the pill, any ninjutsu you use gains +15 damage and any taijutsu gains +10 for 4 turns. Upon expiry of the effects you must use an extra 10 chakra for every technique afterwards for 5 turns due to the fatigue setting in meaning you have to force your techniques more, and thereby adding to the toll it takes on your body. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use in combat and are essentially black small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach, made off of various ingredients and medicinal herbs as well as stimulants
Description of Side Effects:
-Upon using a second pill in a conflict the additional chakra cost after expiry rises to +30 until healed
-Upon taking a third pill, the medical ninja will suffer cardiac arrest upon expiry of the pill.
The famous Soldier Pill first used by Kiba. This pill doubles your chakra supply, even exceeding your maximum reserves, hence the reason why it begins burning at an accelerated rate with a lot of pressure, as you are going beyond your limits. (In some cases.) When the pill expires, you still keep your chakra reserves, at the cost of using more chakra per turn with techniques for an X amount of turns. The severe draw backs don't come in until you use the pill a second time.

(Hyōrōgan) Military Ration Pills
Type: Healing
Description and Background:Military Rations Pills (兵糧丸, Hyōrōgan) are special pills that replenish one's chakra and nourish the body. It is made up of powerful stimulants and nutrients, said to allow the user to keep fighting for three days and three nights without rest. Replenishes 50 percent of the user's maximum chakra supply per pill taken, along with pumping stimulants into the body to alleviate tiredness. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use or distribute in combat and are essentially dark brown small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach.
Description of Side Effects:
-Taking two pills in a conflict results in hyper-stimulation of the cardiovascular system. The users heart rate and blood pressure increase to the point they become painful for 6 turns after taking the pill.
-Taking 3 pills in a conflict pushes the user's cardiovascular system to breaking point, resulting in heart failure after 4 turns.
This pill restores 50% of your maximum chakra supply. For this one though, it will only apply to your canon chakra reserve maximum. By that I mean, if you had taken the Soldier Pill beforehand, you wouldn't be able to receive 50% of the maximum chakra the Soldier Pill bumped you up to.

(Ketsueki no Zōka Piru) Blood Replenishing Pill
Type: Healing
Description and Background: Contains high concentrations of amino acids, iron and mitosis inducing enzymes designed to turbo boost the production of erythrocytes from haematopoetic stem cells in the human body. This pill alleviates and cancels the symptoms of blood loss after one turn. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use or administer in combat and are essentially dark red small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach
Description of Side Effects:
-Taking 2 pills leads to increased blood pressure, and increased likelihood of blood clots forming, specially through trauma.
-Taking 3 pills over stresses the cardiovascular system and causes aneurysm after 4 turns.
A great supplementary pill, simple enough, it restores your blood and replenishes it. I would advice against taking a second pill as it could be potentially dangerous if you encounter someone that specializes in taijutsu or are simply struck with high damaging physical attacks, causing clots to form easier.

Like before, please ask any questions about the technique and this time give me potential scenarios in which you'd use the pills.

(Heishi Piru) Soldier Pills
The doubling chakra effect is my favorite, I'm sure most others feel the same. xD I really only see myself using this in the NW prior to an event where I know I'll be potentially engaging multiple opponents over a period of time. It can also be used in the middle of battle, so that's something to consider.

(Hyōrōgan) Military Ration Pills
So taking a second application of the pill results in pain for 6 turns; how does this effect translate into battle? Meaning, does it in any way impede movement or the execution of techniques? I would likely use this pill if I'm running low on chakra in the NW, beyond that there doesn't seem to be any other use.

(Ketsueki no Zōka Piru) Blood Replenishing Pill
So this doesn't necessarily help the blood clot in areas where cuts were created, just speeds up the production of blood? This is a good tool to use as a means to delaying the effects of blood loss in battle until you can perform a more complex procedure to correct whatever caused blood loss in the first place.

Don't really have any question but one. The +15 when one uses the Soldier pills, is it a passive boost or active one?

I'll use this when my chakra reserve is depleted though it comes with a perk, which boosts my techniques for a short period.
For the military ration, I think its also good but not as good as the soldier pill, though it also means it does not have a chakra feedback on techniques used.

I'll use the blood replenishing pills when I've lost a lot of blood and even when I've healed myself, I may quickly want to replenish my blood instead of using the blood transfusion which may not be applicable in battle. I can even use this to boost the patient's blood level to save him from dying due to lack of blood.

Uncontrolled high blood pressure can lead to stroke by damaging and weakening your brain's blood vessels, causing them to narrow, rupture or leak. High blood pressure can also cause blood clots to form in the arteries leading to your brain, blocking blood flow and potentially causing a stroke. It doesn't directly affect your techniques, but more severe consequences will happen if you are struck. Until the day this pill is over-used and exploited, there will likely not be a set in stone restriction like (No A rank and above Fuuinjutsu for 6 turns) due to the pain stress.

So this doesn't necessarily help the blood clot in areas where cuts were created, just speeds up the production of blood?
That's correct, it only helps you reproduce more blood and alleviate the effects of the blood lost. You'd need to follow different procedures to cause the actual cause of the bleeding to stop.

It would be considered an active boost.

With that set in stone, you two have finally officially completed your medical training, congratulations and apologies for the delays!! Welcome to the team ^-^
