CJs and CEs are forbidden. The point of this competition is for all contestants to be on equal ground.
You have permission to use the Ion Particle Armor during your matches, however you will be able to keep it activated for only 3 turns each match. Use it smartly.
Keep in mind the fact that once the armor is activated you may use only the Lightning element. You can, of course still use Taijutsu, Genjutsu, etc.
All battles should be named similarly to this: "[IPA Tournament] -your name- vs -your opponent's name-"
After the fight concluded the winner shall post the link to the thread of the fight on this here thread.(repetition ftw)
Try not to post anything other than the results of your matches on this thread.
Whoever is first in his/her bracket shall create the thread(for example Frozenstein is the first in his bracket, Vayne is the first in his, etc.)
All fights should be concluded by the 6th of June. If 3 days go by without replying you are automatically disqualified. In case you are faced with a problem which does not allow you to reply in the timespan of 3 days, you must announce Shigure-sama and your opponent in due time.

Gin enters the battlefield.
Gin starts off the fight hesitatingly by forming 2 hand seals focusing on the earth underneath the woman in a circle 3 meters in diameter forms quickly causing her to lose balance and start sinking the swamp is real deep going down up to long range below ground in what looks like a tube down inside the earth.
(Doton: Yomi Numa) - Earth Style: Swamp of the Underworld

Description: The user will first perform Boar → Tiger and then by changing the surface of an object beneath an enemy into mud and creating a non flammable swamp, the user can sink his enemy into the mud. The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the enemy's body, making it almost impossible to recover one's strength and escape from the swamp. The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a fair-sized swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.
Immediately after forming swamp in fluid like succession, Gin quickly focuses earth again, this time around the area of the swamp. He makes spikes rise up from around the edges of the swamp all around to pierce the woman from all sides. Then, Gin takes his lightning spear in hand and begins running towards the right making an arc towards the woman. Watching carefully as makes his way.

As Gin starts to perform the handseals, Lucrecia recognises them from her trainings and starts to gather up her wind chakra. Once she notices the earth beneath her changing, she punches down and releases all her focused wind chakra at once through her fist into a whirlwind that shoots her up and diagonally backwards into the air. The lift did not go completely without struggle, because the mud held on to her boots, yet she managed to get away before Gin could perform the next jutsu.
(Fūton: Senpūken) - Wind Style: Hurricane Fist
At the moment she gets shot into the air, Lucrecia sends a fast wave of chakra towards her opponent. Since the wave is really fast it will arrive at the time the swamp fully has formed, and thus before Gin can complete his second move. As the wave of chakra arrives at Gin's location, Lucrecia uses it to disturb the chakra flow to Gin's brain, making it seem like snakes emerge from the ground beneath him and start to constrict him as soon as they appear. Whilst they constrict him, Gin becomes immobilised.
( Genjutsu: Oshitsubusu Hebi Kubire ) - Illusion Technique: Crushing Snake Constriction
Once Gin is trapped in the genjutsu, Lucrecia performs one handseal and sends a massive blast of wind towards Gin that travels at tremendous speed towards him whilst he is trying to fight off the snakes or escapes from the genjutsu, which leaves little time for him to defend or escape from the wind.

Yes, you can. You can recognise the handseals. Even if I cannot say that, I still waited for the technique to start to confirm I was right, and then performed my technique. I did not just go with my guess, therefore it is valid.
Also, I did not break the time frame rule since my first aggressive action is after you perform your handseals, which is your first aggressive action. I perform my jutsu after you perform yours, thus there is no way I break the time frame rule.
Do you really want to argue over everything, or shall we just finish the fight before the 20th?

As he's focusing on his next technique, he simply adds more chakra then he intended to as the woman goes is pushed up into the air. Instead of little spikes coming around the swamp, large hefty spikes protude from the sides of the swamp point in the same directions. The spikes easily stab the woman and kills her. Its only 3 spikes and they come from the right and left and behind her.

If the lady somehow gets the Genjutsu off, Gin simply charges an electrical current as a full body surge when he realizes the snakes are coming from the ground and he can't move his body yet they are still on rises on his legs. Clearly some type of Genjutsu.

Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electricity from their body. It can be used as an omnidirectional attack or be channeled through weapons, the ground or other conductive mediums. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it has great numbing and paralyzing effects. To channel Nagashi through a medium, the user needs to focus the technique into one of his hands which will then be put in contact with the medium and can only choose to either do a widespread attack throughout his whole body or to channel it into something; he cannot achieve both usages at the same time. Despite not having much destructive or damaging properties, Nagashi can be used to destroy low rank earthen and wooden structures and even negate chakra on the ground to stop high ranked earth and wood techniques. It has also been noted that Lightning Specialists that have mastered Lightning to the highest degree can resist total paralyzation, although they still feel the pain and numbing effects.
Note: Paralyzation lasts 1 turn if sucessful but is ineffective against bios who have a primary Lightning Specialty

As Lucrecia notices the spikes appear to emerge from the ground she uses her still focused wind chakra to change her direction in the air in a way that she flies out of this 'trap' made by the spikes and swamp. Since she still had her wind chakra focused, and didn't need much anyway, combined with the speed of the technique, she will have enough time to escape from the pillars. She is now flying diagonally backwards and downwards to the left, since you said there was one pillar behind her.

Because of the angle she now flies in, the pillars that formed do not block Lucrecia's sight for a second. She also lands on the ground in long range within a short period after using the technique. While she still flew, she kept gathering up wind chakra and released it as a massive wall of wind that travels towards Gin at tremendous speed.

As she now landed, Lucrecia slams her hand upon the ground, summoning a massive amount of water 10 metres above Gin. The water reaches to mid-range around him and starts falling towards the ground.
