The Inuzuka clan (犬塚一族) is a family of shinobi in Konohagakure known for their use of Hiden Ability, using ninken as fighting companions and are easily identified by the distinctive red fang markings on their cheeks. The members are given their own canine partner(s) when they reach a certain age. Thereafter, the shinobi and their dog(s) are practically inseparable. With their canine companion they use the unique style of the Inuzuka clan to fight using a combination of transformations and striking at the same time to over come their opponents.

Abilities:
  • The Inuzuka and their canine allies fight using collaboration jutsu's, such as Kiba's signature move Fang Over Fang amongst others that take advantage of their teamwork.
  • The clan members are also able to communicate with canines even if unlike Kuromaru, the dogs cannot talk.
  • The members of this clan, much like their canine partners have greatly enhanced senses especially their sense of smell and partially their sense of hearing, granting them a x1.5 passive sensing bonus to living beings and can track scents up to 1 landmark away ( this applies to the Inuzuka, and not the Ninken ). By concentrating chakra to their noses, their sense of smell is amplified to an even greater extent allowing the user to be able to detect, track and monitor targets from a fair distance away, though as Naruto demonstrated this makes them highly sensitive to foul stenches.
  • Overall they also have a very canine appearance like wild hair, aggressive personality, sharp nails and teeth which makes their hand-to-hand combat potentially more dangerous, gaining a passive +20 damage to hand based Taijutsu.

Custom Inuzuka Dog Breed:
  • While most Inuzuka use the standard breed of Ninken, some of them have dogs from different, more unique breeds.
  • While they can replace the standard breed, these species can make up for it with different and no less useful traits, such as different chakra draining rates, different elemental strengths, or any sort of aesthetical or functional attribute, within reason
  • These types of dogs will need to be submitted in the Custom Jutsu thread and once approved, updated in a updated bio.
Restrictions:
  • Aren't available to canon bios.
  • Only one custom breed per bio.
  • Custom Dog Breeds require, at minimum, Genin rank

Restrictions:
  • Inuzuka bio's can be made at all times.
  • An Inuzuka bio can only have a max of 3 dogs. All of these dogs have to be mentioned in your bio and it has to be explained how they look. Up to 2 out of 3 can be of a custom breed.

Inuzuka Mastery

Inuzuka Adept Skills

Heart of the Pack (Passive) (I-III): The user’s Adept skill is honed, passively increasing all Inuzuka technique damage by 10/20/30.

Canine Synchronization (Passive) (I-III): The user and their hounds share a unique bond, letting their dogs help them perform techniques and alleviate the burden of chakra. This skill increases chakra efficiency of Inuzuka techniques, reducing consumption by 20/30/40%. This does not reduce the effective quantity of chakra in a technique, nor does it reduce chakra cost of Inuzuka Mastery abilities.

Talons of Uridimmu (Passive) (I-III): The user’s Inuzuka techniques are honed further, sharpened through their Adept skills. Increases critical damage by 10/20/30%.

Sacred Companionship (Active) (I-III): While in any Inuzuka-based Rotation based technique the user can activate Sacred Companionship, creating a protective bond between them and their ninken. This reduces all physical damage taken by 20 while in Rotation. Can be used 3/4/5 times per battle.

Ferocity of Uridimmu
Requires Tier II of each Adept Skill in order to unlock Ferocity of Uridimmu.

Beasts of Legend (Passive): This is a passive technique describing a specific type of Ninken, replacing the user’s generic breed. It does not entail manipulation. Through medical techniques these Ninken are much more inclined to anger, being genetically modified to be stronger, more durable, and inclined to enter rampage. The Beasts of Legend are able to consume medical pills, enhancing their physical abilities externally. They move at 16 speed, and track at x2. Beasts of Legend have 160 Health Points and can heal for 15 points of damage each turn passively. Their attacks inherit the damage boost afforded to the user by Heart of the Pack (Adept). Only two of the user’s three Ninken can be Beasts of Legend.

Blood Howl (Active): The roar of a Beast of Legend instills terror in all that hear it. Against other summons the roar will cause the summon to voluntarily, even against their contract holder’s will, disperse itself and return to their homeland. Usable three times per battle.

Rampage (Passive): A powerful technique that enhances the damage of a Beast of Legend based on the destruction it causes. All techniques that a Beast of Legend, specifically the Ninken and not the user, intercepts and overpowers increases the Beast’s damage by 10 points for two turns. This effect stacks up to a maximum of three times; its duration is not refreshed upon gaining a new stack of Rampage.

Dynamic Tempo (Active): A technique directly correlated to a Beast of Legend’s level of Rampage. The user commands a single Beast of Legend to convert itself into a living missile, using its body to convert its immense strength into speed. This technique moves at four times the Beast’s base movement speed, inflicting 60 damage to whatever it strikes. The potency of this ability is set so that without Rampage it inflicts only 60 damage; but each stack of Rampage thereafter increases the damage of Dynamic Tempo by an additional 30. Dynamic Tempo does not gain the actual damage boost of Rampage itself. Usable twice per battle, causes the Beast of Legend that used it to suffer 40 damage recoil.

Ferocious Union (Mode): An advanced version of the Double-Headed Wolf Transformation technique. A combination transformation where the Inuzuka and both Beasts of Legend merge to become a single entity. The user becomes able to make use of Dynamic Tempo, Rampage, and Blood Howl themselves while this transformation is active. For the duration of the technique the user’s durability is augmented, increasing their maximum health and healing them up to 360 for its duration. Though once this transformation expires the user’s health and the Beasts of Legend separates, returning to their original values. Should damage be taken while in this Mode the user’s can distribute the damage as they see fit. This is an extremely fatiguing technique, incurring a 5% of the user’s maximum chakra per turn, lasting at most three turns and usable once per battle.

The Huntsman’s Pack
Requires Tier II of each Adept Skill in order to unlock the Huntsman’s Pack.

Nighthound (Passive): This is a passive technique describing a specific type of Ninken, replacing the user’s generic breed. It does not entail manipulation. Nighthounds are trained from birth with special hidden methods to be elite hunting and tracking animals, making them far superior to the basic Hunter Ninja Dogs. These ninken move at 24 base speed and track at x4 their level. They have an incredibly well-trained sense of smell, honed to a point where they can detect scents up to three landmarks away from their position. Nighthounds are able to communicate with their handler through a unique mental link over any distance within the same spacetime. They have 80 Health Points. All three of the user’s ninken can become Nighthounds.

Marked for Death (Passive): A technique that is passively activated on targets that are afflicted with Dynamic Marking. Enables the Nighthound to detect marked targets with extreme precision within their range, making the smell discernible from anything else. It becomes so precise that the trail even can be visualized by the Nighthound, giving them a secondary way to track their target outside of the scent of smell. Nighthounds gain 20 increased damage against targets that are marked. Dynamic Marking cannot be removed until an arc ends, short of destroying the target that is marked entirely or leaving the spacetime that it is currently within.

Fixation (Active): A technique that is passively used, causing all Nighthounds to fixate on a target’s scent. This causes the Nighthound to lose track of all other scents in the area with the exception of their Fixated target, which lasts for five turns. All tracking bonuses are significantly increased against the fixated target, but are lost against all others. Increases the Nighthound’s tracking level to x6, and increases their area of detection to 5 landmarks.

Prepared to Kill (Active): Activated by either a single or multiple Nighthounds and can only be used when they are fixated on a target. Causes the Nighthounds to enter a state of effective invisibility, perfectly blending in with their surroundings. The Nighthounds also cloak their scent and sound unless against externally enhanced basic sensory techniques that hone one of these senses. The first attack launched by a Nighthound breaks their invisibility, but the attack gains an increase of 30 damage and 40% critical damage. Usable twice per battle.

Hunter’s Pact (Mode): An advanced version of the Double-Headed Wolf Transformation technique. A combination transformation where the Inuzuka and at least two of three Nighthounds merge to become a single entity. The user becomes able to use Marked for Death, Fixation, and Prepared to Kill. While in this state the user is able to Fixate on multiple targets equal to the number of Nighthounds they merged with. This mode lasts for three turns, and is usable twice per battle.

Pack of Fangs
Requires Tier II of each Adept Skill in order to unlock Pack of Fangs.

Indra’s Companions (Passive): This is a passive technique describing a specific type of Ninken, replacing the user’s generic breed. It does not entail manipulation. Indra’s Companions are not trained by any particular Inzuka school of thought; rather, they are born into a special bond of companionship with their owner. These ninken move at 18 base speed, and track at x3 their level. Their sense of smell allows them to track up to one landmark away. Indra’s Companions are able to communicate through mental link and heal passively for 10 Health Points per turn. They have 100 Health Points and gain the benefits of Heart of the Pack. All three of the user’s Ninken can become Indra’s Companions.

Pandavas’s Rite (Passive): Strengthens Sacred Companionship within the Pack of Fangs Expertise. Causes the technique to become passively active when the user and their ninken are using any Rotation based techniques, reducing damage taken by 30 while in Rotation. The damage reduction lingers after the Rotation expires for 1 turn after it expires, beginning in the user’s next turn. This duration is increased by 2 turns after the user reaches Tier III in Sacred Companionship.

Fanged Impulse (Active): Activated at the cost of a move, but done within the same timeframe as a Rotation-based technique. This technique allows the user to force their Rotation to launch at another target on the condition of if they overpower or neutralize their original target. Can be used five times per battle.

Dharma’s Marking (Passive): While in a Rotation-based technique with one of their Companions, the companion’s saliva will be ejected from their mouth at high speeds and splattering on anything within mid-range of the Rotation. This saliva effectively acts as a Dynamic Marking, lasting until the end of the battle.

Man’s Best Friend (Mode): An advanced version of the Double-Headed Wolf Transformation technique. A combination transformation where the Inuzuka and their Companions merge to become a single entity. The strength of this transformation depends on how many of their Companions merge, up to a maximum of three. For each companion merged the user gains 5 damage, 3 base speed, and 10% increased healing potency. Pandava’s Rite becomes passive to the Mode, active as long as the mode is activated. The user also becomes able to use Fanged Impulse passively, and all of their own Rotation techniques gain Dharma’s Marking. This is an extraordinarily taxing technique, draining 5% of the user’s chakra per turn for its duration, lasting for a maximum of three turns and usable once per battle.
