I actually love the timeskip for FT. The reason why is that he is solving the major issues I personally having with FT. They were always ontop, given the hardest villians and winning without showing major character developement. Its not that the guild needed to get better like every other anime, its that the WORLD needed to get stronger so that Hiro would have to develop characters like natsu and give them more depth, or at least that was what i felt so far into the timeskip

Fairy tail's timeskip was pretty good. I liked it better than Naruto's U_U.
