This was a rather fun idea I had that was born from talking with Mother. We were discussing Youtube and TV in terms of content. This leads me to the question that is "What content would you watch if you could only have one? Internet content, in terms of Youtube and Twitch, or film content, as in TV and movies?" There is a fine line and in some cases, web based content is film (Red vs Blue, for example), but I hope you all understand the general question.
I love film, Mother and I even have our own show and movies about our future, and there are so many amazing creations like Avatar: The Last Airbender, Game of Thrones, and Dexter. These things are truly works of art. On the comedy side, Parks and Recreation and It's Always Sunny leave Mother and I on the floor dying of laughter. I mean, this also includes the services Netflix and Hulu, which are amazing services for film. I could not imagine not having them and all the glorious film content that is Daredevil, for example.
But I also love Youtube and have also experienced countless hours of entertainment, mainly from the company Roosterteeth, as well as some very informal and inspired things like Game Theory and how to videos. I mean, on multiple videos, I learned some very interesting tips and tricks that made Mother very, very happy. Things from how to properly make a souffle, how to be somewhat decent at pottery, how to give the best massages, and how to, well, more personal things.
Anyways, it's a tough question and one that both Mother and I are undecided on, which is why we would like to know some of your opinions. Should be a fun discussion.
So, what would you choose? Internet based content or film based content?
