CHAPTER XII
Revelations, Shortcomings and lame jokes.

Akiza arrives at the training ground with Emperor already waiting for him.
Emperor: Ah, so you’ve finally made it.
Akiza: Cut the small talk.
Emperor: Ha! You know wh—
Akiza: SHARINGAN!
Akiza activates her three-tomoe sharingan. From emperor’s view, loud
screeches begin to echo around the battlefield; it drives him crazy as he tries to drown out the sound by covering his ears.
Emperor: Akiza! Damn you!
Although struggling to withstand the piercing noise, he puts his hands together.
Emperor: Release!
At the moment of release, he’s welcomed by the fist of Akiza who has charged in on him with a reckless punch. Quick to react, Emperor blocks the punch by grabbing her hand.
Akiza: So the First kusakage’s successor does have some skill.
Emperor: Shut up, you ignorant bitch!
Emperor kicks her in the stomach, knocking her backward a few feet. He then sinks into the ground soon after. Akiza, very wary, begins to scout the area.
Akiza: That sneaky plant…
Suddenly, emerging from the ground and all around her, multiple white zetsu’s emerge slowly. Akiza takes a brisk look but doesn’t seem intimidated by all these enemies. She makes two hand seals in quick succession and plants her palms on the ground.
Akiza: Earth Release: Tectonic Shatter!
Without delay, the earth around Akiza begins to fissure into fairly large slabs and smash together in order to sandwich the upcoming Zetsu in their tracks and cutting their bodies in halves. Although right after, Akiza is alerted to her side, she swerves to see the real Emperor leap at her recklessly. She widens her eyes and fluently dodges the incoming strike fairly easily.
Akiza: Hmph, a distraction? Something so amateur wouldn’t work against me
Emperor: I’m just getting warmed up.
After speaking, he smirks and creates the boar seal. Immediately, a venus flytrap breaks out of the ground where Akiza is standing.
Akiza: Shi--!
Akiza jumps backward in order to avoid the emerging flytrap but is then caught mid-jump by an even bigger one from another position under her. Torn to pieces, Akiza’s fight is over.

Within a forest en route – 9:15pm
Flaw: What did the elephant say to the naked man?
Gats: … -_- ?
Flaw: “How do you breathe through something so small?”
Missy: Oh god .___.
Leaving the thick forest, they come across a small cottage with a man in the front garden, collecting his herbs.
Gats: I think this is it, guys.
Flaw: Yo, you there! Are you who people call ‘the oracle?’
Roku: That be me O_O what do you need?

Training ground – 9:16
Back at the venus flytrap-filled training ground, Emperor wipes his hands as his job is done.
Emperor: Well, that went easier than expected…
Akiza: Or so I led you to believe.
Emperor: O_O the fawk?
Suddenly, the battlefield begins to distort and flicker. Emperor begins to suffer from a severe migraine as he’s undergoing this experience.
Emperor: What the hell is this!? Akiza!
The field envelops in a bright light that temporarily blinds emperor and once regaining his sight, he feels a sword through his abdomen. He looks down at the white goo pouring out of him and then turns his head to see behind him. He notices Akiza standing in a perfect state.
Emperor: When… How?!
Akiza: It was a genjutsu I placed on you when you leaped out of me a while ago. It made you believe everything was going according to your wishes. It’s a technique I’m personally proud of.
She smiles innocently while Emperor curses at her.
Emperor: You bitch! You think I don’t have something up my sleeve?!
Akiza: It’s too late anyway- -
White drops of white goo then begin to drip from Akiza’s hand. She then seems confused at first, until the goo begins to grow rapidly into a large sludge that only expands. The goo swiftly envelops her whole arm and carries on to her body. She begins to freak out and stagger backwards.
Akiza: God damn you! What is this?!
Emperor: It’s a spore… It’ll absorb your chakra until you’re nothing but a carcass. Tasty carcass.
He licks his lips as he takes the sword out of his body and flings it away. Akiza, still worried, tries to tear the Zetsu off of her but only getting handfuls of white substance on her hands.
Akiza: Stupid thing! Fire release: Attentive Heat Technique!
Akiza’s hand begins to engulf in fire and expands across her body, forming a somewhat armour-like fire in order to slowly melt the Zetsu off of her, which works but doesn’t burn it to the point of incapacitation but off of her at least. The Zetsu slithers over to Emperor and infuses itself into him while Akiza drops onto one knee.
Emperor: Ah, such delicious chakra. Can’t wait for the main dish, Akiza-chan.

The fire burning around Akiza then extinguishes as she looks down and sighs.
Akiza: A-Akiza? I can’t do this anymore; this technique stores too much for me to fight at full strength…
Emperor: Hmm, what? Speak up!
Akiza stands up and looks at Emperor. Her voice becomes much deeper than before, almost as if it was an entirely new voice.
Emperor: What are you doing?
Akiza: I’m not this ‘Akiza’… I never was.
Akiza’s body begins to distort; the body of Akiza begins to change into a whole new one, a more masculine one…
Land of fire prison entrance – 9:20pm
Standing outside the large gate of the derelict and abandoned prison, Nexus stands in the dead of night. Walking through the unattended gates, he smirks devilishly.
Training Ground - 9:21pm
???: You can call me Zise.
Emperor looks on, surprised and somewhat intimidated by this ordeal. While Zise looks back with a psychotic grin.
