They work extremely work together and even though they are not as strong as team taka shikamaru would think of something to take them down.

And plus choujis butterfly mode thing is epic :|

Taka isn't properly organised. They sure has better fire power, but without sasuke leading them, they can't utilize their power enough to take on ISC.
ISC has better experience, better combination,Strategies, they r organized, and they have smart ass Shikamaru on their side. It's a pretty one sided to me.
But if it's 1 vs 1, Taka will win.

This is actually a pretty good match up, but Choji is a wild card, his giant mode has the potential to 1 shot ppl, and that spiked tank jutsu could be troublesome as shikamaru would say, but jugo is kage level when he transforms, but he looses his kewl which puts Shikamaru at an advantage. This one is a tuffy, but I think due to Shika-man, Asuma's team winz.
