The only reason Jiraiya needs Shima & Fukasaku is to reach Sage level chakra. With Edo Tensei that is no issue as he has infinite chakra. He would reach Sage level chakra on his own. Think again buddy!

He can never run out of chakra (as he uses nature energy), and he has some of the most ranged techniques. Susanoo can't stay up in a river of lava and oil. His genjutsu is strong enough to fool a Rinnegan user (the Rinnegan's visual prowess is beyond all forms of Sharingan), and many more feats just from his normal state.

You are my new best friend on the forum! This is true, he almost soloed all of the pains, (killed four of them) and showed his incredible range of jutsu. Edo Jiraiya would solo most characters in NV.

Last but not least, he "solo'd" the 3 least powerful pain paths. Deva alone decimates Jiraiya.

Please stop over rating Jiraiya first of all his sage mode was incomplete...Naruto surpassed him by fully mastering sage mode...further more Jiraiya doesn't get any credit for beating four pain bodies when Konohamaru soloed one...

A) there's no such thing as infinite sage mode once natural and spiritual energies run out the excess natural energy kills them.
B) edo's don't have infinite chakra. Not only are they limited to the max amount of chakra they had at the point in which they died, the chakra regen rate isn't even that fast. (Muu, trollkage etc)

Jman edo or not still has to take forever to summon ma and pa. By then anyone that was stronger than him while he was alive would kill him.(seal him)
