Double post but it's funny that all of the villains causing problems all thought they were the ones to bring peace on their own. In the End Indra's ideology spread he created ninjutsu. He directed the course of the ninja world. It was his descendant who awakened the Rinnegan and became the mechanism for world peace. It's a pity Ashura fapboys can't see this.

Hashirama's system increased the level of killing it was clan skirmishes until then. Hashirama's system destroyed entire countries and populations left families displace while protecting a few of the underling clans in konoha. His own descendant paid the price.
Madara was truly born when Hashirama showed 0 backbone to stand up to his own clan and brother. Had he offer his own brother and wasn't a hypocrite(overlooking Tobirama who undermined him) perhaps Madara wouldn't exist as the second coming of Rokudo.

You just said his plan was to cast IT and control the people within it? No, his plan was to cast IT and create everlasting peace. Just because his plan was just a manipulation doesn't mean he didn't freely chase after that plan of his own free-will. Madara wanted to cast IT, and only regretted it after realizing it's true purpose. Just because it wasn't HIS plan doesn't mean the plan wasn't realized.

IT was cast therefore Madara's plan was realized.
