How do you judge, from YOUR perspective, if a person is successful or not?
In other words, who do you think is successful or can become a successful person in the future.

To me, success implies getting to the place I want to be and being happy with where I am. If you get somewhere, but you aren't happy with it, it is not really a success. More a distraction from what you really want. If a person is successful, to me, that would mean they are at a place where they are happy and are able to support themselves.

Success is displayed by social interest instead, or in spite of, monetary wealth. It's hard to quantify, because it can be made on such a small scale and it is by nature qualitative, where as wealth is easily quantifiable. Improving lives of strangers, self-sacrifice, inspiring others to better themselves and eventually help others, that is what success is. The world is bigger than the individual, and our bank accounts are superfluous in the flow of life.

Success is different for everyone but imo I believe success is when you are relatively happy with your life. I saw on t.v a homeless man on the news who would spread happy messages on the streets holding a sign. He was actually really happy, and it made me a little happy seeing his happiness despite his circumstance. People will say he is not successful but look at Michael Jackson. The most famous man across the world yet he was not happy and had no peace and lived relatively short while this guy who had no money did not have the same troubles that plagued this rich man
