In what state would we go to heaven?

I am not a religious person but I am also not really an Atheist. I was wondering on the concept of "heaven"

My question is, if heaven was/is real in what state would you visit it in?

If a 2 year old boy dies, does he visit heaven as a 2 year old with his limited knowledge and understanding of life let alone the idea of God? If so then what was really the point of "God" creating him or him existing in general as he probably didn't fulfill any real purpose or even understands the concept of good and bad.

I imagine that humans would change when going there in the sense that everything about them, physiology, mental state etc would defer from their previous lives. I can't say I know for sure, I guess it depends on the religion being discussed

So basically the boy gets to go to heaven without doing anything conscious with proper reasoning behind his minor actions?His job was to live and then die at age 2, that doesn't seem fair compared to our lives.

His actions probably wouldn't be minor. He could the reason a person doesn't commit suicide, or the reason someone grows up and becomes responsible or even many different things.

The thing is you wouldn't even be able to ask the baby "hey what age would you like to be or how much knowledge would you like to have?" because they can't even comprehend any proper ideas and if you were to choose for them, then they are not really themselves anymore but mere clay for our father who be in heaven...
