If a two year old boy dies, who's to say that he won't continue to grow in heaven.. 24 hours in his days in heaven.. 365 days in his years in heaven.. he can still continue to age and mature mentally and physically (depending on what our physical form would be in heaven).

Now.. it would of course depend on if God let's people who die go to heaven and "choose an age to be".. or is it automatically our prime.. who knows..

But let's say hypothetically, if it's our prime state that we remain in, while in heaven, we'll then, the young people who die will be able to grow in heaven until they reach that prime state.. whereas the older people who die, shall return to their prime state when they enter Heaven.

I honestly have no clue.

None of us do..

No one knows the answers..

Definitely not Sway..

There's also the possibility of reincarnation.

There's also a possibility of living in between worlds, as a ghost or spirit.. or something like that.. still on earth..

Like I said who knows...

There is only one thing we all know for certain...

Well in Hinduism heaven is just a place or like a world not really earth+1 like and hell isn't earth-1, when you die your soul reincarnates you get borne there, that's rare though, there are like levels all the way up to the best place one can get without god called 'while lake'(rough broken english translation) then there is god-the actual one not his avatars even beyond that. But my knowledge is rusty I don't remember details.

Most religions apply soul concept, that your body was a mere shell for that life.

Are you asking about the concept of heaven or the state of boy's heaven and his life?

The concept of heaven is an odd one; it is a realm where the opposition or negative energy that defines the other opposition or positive energy has been completely rendered obsolete. That simply means that your existence relies upon a single-minded pursuit of happiness and contentment, and as the opposition is absent to create spatial and temporal hurdles, you simply get whatever you desire.

In regards to the state of being, then it should be the ideal state. That state is 'youth' as Heaven is regarded as the 'eternal' state of perfection. Perfection cannot be associated with the form of a child, as religious scriptures speak of heavenly maidens and men who are beautiful and young.

If the question is about the boy's life, then God in orthodox religions is omniscient and all-knowing. That would mean that every life is planned beforehand. Hence, yes, the boy had served the purpose he was intended to. Even if it was not for himself.
