This chapter was a victory for SasuSaku fans. Seriously, you guys think Sakura will like Naruto when Sasuke has decided to come back to Konoha and become Hokage? It's like her dream come true.

When she smacked his head, she never denied what Naruto said. But Naruto saying it out loud, could have embarrassed her so she hit him, is another view point.

On another note, i guess this chapter would be an occasion for sakura fans to rejoice as she has finally stepped up to the mantle and decided to fight on the frontlines. Though i suppose detractors would say its only because sasuke is fighting as well, she had hundreds of chapters to step up like when pain destroyed konoha and damn near killed naruto, where did this sudden spirit come from?

I think the truth is sloppy work on female chars by kishi. He was criticised for not having sakura act like a heroine, so hes trying to rectify that.

read as many translations as i could and it all sound exactly like "shes basically my gf". the part that confirms sakura's feelings is the fact she tells him to shut up and let her heal him....very kagome like when things were asked about her and inuyasha (and many many others...) oh not to mention....so sasuke joins up with team 7 and doesnt apologize to sakura for trying to kill her like he does karin and sakura didnt go fangirl..she questioned his intentions briefly and thats it.
